Stayed at Capitol for 3 days 2 nights in July 2005. If you're a budget traveler then Capitol is superb. The bathroom & aircon is the best! Love the area for writing & reading (the table with desk lamp). Booked the Hotel online & requested for connection room where they share a common door in between 2 rooms. Good service for housekeeping but bedsheets are a little dirty with stains. Over my stay at Capitol, I seldom see people at our level lobby cos perhaps most of the people are out shopping & eating. One unhappy incident is checking in. We had to wait for 2 hours before we can check in & by then it was already late afternoon. But was nice of them to put our bags in safe hands with the frontdesk baggage corner. Federal is a close competitor to Capitol. Everything is good for Federal than Capitol except for the location that's slightly away from the shopping areas. Capitol still comes better. Capitol is near (walking distance only - 10 minutes at most) to Bukit Bintang Plaza, Sungei Wang Shopping Complex, Low Yat Plaza, BB Park, Beer Garden, Berjaya Times Square, Food Stall Hawker, etc. It has also endless flow of metered-cabs to KLCC, Chinatown (Petaling Street), Bus Stations, etc. Am heading for Capitol again in December 2005 for 2 days 1 night. I choose Capitol Hotel as recommended by my boyfriend (previously stayed in Capitol too). This is my first time staying in a hotel in my entire life. Well i got to say it's a hotel in a gd location. Just around the corner to Sungai Wang Plaza and some walking distance to Times Square. The hotel room is clean and cosy, though my room scenery is a building next to it. Hotel staff is quite friendly and nice. Breakfast provided by the hotel is quite satisfied. Well... i will still choose to stay in Capitol Hotel for my next malaysia trip. Railway station is also within walking distance so can save $$ in taking taxi.

Capitol Hotel is really good. This is my 2nd time staying in it and the warm and friendly staff always make my stay a very memoriable one. clean rooms and warm service staff at a reasonable rate, what's there to ask for for a hotel right in the heart of the city. i give capitol 2 thumbs up.

Capitol Hotel has a superb location right in the middle of the Golden Triangle. Considering the location, the hotel is certainly a good value. However, I found 3 serious problems with the hotel. First, we stayed in a deluxe room and this room was painfully small. Two people bump into each other attempting to move around. Second, the staff at Reception and at the Breakfast buffet are unpleasant almost bordering on being rude. Third problem is that due to its side street location, it is very difficult to get a taxi from in front of the hotel. Although the price was right, I would not stay here again.

we had a wonderful stay at the Capitol hotel. it was value for money. great location, good shopping a stone's throw away. breakfast okay. excellent service, front desk people have been extremely accommodating and helpful. our rooms had views of both the KL tower and petronas. the only problem we had was we failed to bring our own universal adaptor which the hotel didnt get to provide immediately. but over all capitol is a good hotel. would most likely recommend it to friends.

The Capitol hotel is a nice and clean hotel in Kuala Lumpur - Service excellent. One down side is they do not have queen size bed for Deluxe room (the cheapest one) - Only found out that when i went there, so have to combine to single bed together. Overall experience was great.

The Capitol hotel is a fantastic hotel, especially for the money, very high standards, excellent service, will definately use again. Suggest you ask for room with a view of the towers-What a view from your bed at night! Very well don Capital-top marks.

Very prompt service from the hotel staff. Breakfast provided during your hotel stay. Parking also paid for by the hotel. Great for travellers who drives. Hotel is really central to almost everywhere. Good value for money.
