Great Location
The hotel location is very good (Bukit Bintang area) and easily accessible to major shopping centre and foodstall. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. Room and bathroom are clean. Most part of the hotel are positive except for maybe the food (Breakfast). Variety is very limited. Due to the hotel proximty to Bukit Bintang, room noise from nearby foodstall and pubs are slightly on the high side but still manageable.

Overall very good, but one complaint
I really enjoyed my stay in Capitol hotel. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. Great location. Great value for money.
The only complaints I would make were that the noise from the bars on the streets is actually VERY loud. I asked for a room on a higher floor but never got it. It did say in the site this could not be gauranteed. I would really argue for one if I was going again though.
The other complaint was that we paid the for one night of our stay (2 nights) on arrival along with a deposit - we went out the next day with the intention of withdrawing the balance from the bank. We returned at 4pm to a phone message and a written message waiting for us asking for the balance. less than a minute after walking into our room we received a call about it. My sister went down to pay the rest upon where we were asked for a second deposit!!!We tried to purchase wifi and were not allowed to put this on the bill and had to pay upfront.
To be honest it was all a bit strange, there was no mini bar and it made us feel- what did they think we were going to do? Trash the room? Run out on paying? It made us feel very untrusted by the hotel. I'm not sure if this is the hotel policy but it wasn't very pleasant yo be hounded in such a manner for the equivalent of 50 euro, especially when we were still staying another night!

Will not try again
Booked this largely on comments that it was super convenient, located centrally within KL. To an extent, that was true - it was right in middle of bintang area. But what they didn't say was how congested and noisy it was, at all times of the day. Also note the extremely loud music - you can hear it clearly from the room, was just crazy. We had to change our rooms at 10pm at night -- imagine the frustration of packing and unpacking everything when u are already exhausted.
Also, no free wifi - only if you dine at the restaurant. Wouldn't be so bad if the food wasn't so bad!
Service was inconsistent - concierge was great but not so much the front desk staff.
will not stay here again.

The location of Capital hotel is in the heart of Bukit Bintan. There are many shopping malls and eateries nearby within walking distance. I am staying at deluxe room. I would say the room is normal and the furniture is quite old. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Great stay for a good price
Stayed over at the Capitol hotel at the Bukit Bintang area. I must say that for the price I paid, I was getting a good value. It is tucked in at a convenient location, about 5 minutes walk from 2 LRT stations (the main red line). The downside of being at such a centrally located place is that it does get abit noisy at night. Music from the nearby night spot does not stop playing till 2am. WiFi doesn't come free though it has become the norm for many hotels in the world. And if you need, you would have to pay RM15 for 24 hour access, which limits you to 1 device use. On top of that, the connection is not always excellent. However, like I mentioned, for the price I paid, this place is surely value for money.

Convenient
The location is ideal for shoppers. The surrounding streets have a holiday atmosphere although it was a weekday. Many middle eastern tourists have come to kl to escape the summer heat. Noise from the open air band performance could be heard in the room past midnight. Would have been disturbing for light sleepers. When I enquired if the hotel rate included b/f, I was informed that it did not but the 4 cans of softdrinks, 4 bottles of mineral water, 1 kitkat bar and 1 pkt of peanuts were included. Somewhat unusual. This was a pleasant surprise as I was not told on registration. If I had not asked, I would not have known & the hotel would have benefitted from my ignorance!! This is not good. Carpark is an issue if you have difficulties locating them as the hotel does not have its own parking. Hotel should clearly advise customers that parking at Low Yat, Sungei Wang/Bt Bingtan plaza etc are reimbursable. Not just Free Parking in surrounding carparks. Otherwise, the deluxe room at around 110usdwas affordable.
