We were very happy with the room, the service, the location was absolutely great. Breakfast was very nice but could do with a little more room. The staff you could not fault in fact we have made some very good friends whom we have kept in contact with and will stay there again if for nothing else so as we can see more of them. In particular the door staff and a guys outside who organise your taxis. They could not have been more helpful. I would like to have seen a little more put into the eating outside at night. I think it has more potential than is being utilised particularly for the position.

For tourists visiting KL, you need to stay in Bukit Bintang: its the heart of the entertainment area. All hotels in B.B. are well-placed, and Dorsett is not expensive by comparison with equivalent hotels in the area. Service fine, staff excellent, room fine, breakfast impressive, location perfect but not too close for noise. I'd stay there again. (June 2008)

We enjoyed the food ,friendly staff, the music mate for the night cap,Hotel was good and quiet and very clean,no problem to put me in adjoining room next to friends,We wre able to see the twin towers form oue windows on 11th floor however higher would have reaveled more of the tower when well lit at night realy good. location, the Golden triangle walking distance to all the shops and entertainment areas.
Very enjoyable,place to stay at, the downside was never to go and stay when it is wesak holiday weekend,
as the people shut the lifts doors in your face when lining up for breakfast or going to check out for airport,forgetting we all need to be someplace too and kidnapping the lifts isn't nice to have to wait for upto half hour then arrive in the foyer to pandamonium, i certainly will check the public holidays in KL before i return and Asia rooms were very good in the end with my bookings,usually don't wait too long for confirmation but high demand we learned on arrival(was wesak public holiday)They also checked that everything good at hotel, I highly recommend asia rooms for reservations and used them several times before and will next time if in doubt call them and speak with their friendly staff,who gets it done in no time I like them and the dorsett and KL my first trip and will return again . hope you do too and met Corina at the misic mate who serves you well and on the return doesn't forget the orders, Yes we were very happy there.

1) Check in counter was rude to few customers.
2) Conceige arraanged with limo pick up but sent us to the wrong airport terminal and caused us inconveniently, additional cost and rushing for our departure, esp. with kids along.
3) Send complaint/feedback message to Dorsette Regency, but no reply at all.
4) Breakfast is the same everyday.
5) A walking distance to shopping areas, it's not 5 or 10 mins, but 20 mins. (Different from the hotel's guide). Otherwise, I would have chosen others hotel as I have kids along if there is near-by shopping areas.

We changed our room on 3 occasions. The lights keep fusing and bulbs needed to be changed constantly. The toilets did not flush! The corridors and room of even the supposed to be non smoking rooms smelt of smoke!!!
We will certainly not be staying at this hotel.
We were a group of 6 in...
We were a group of 6 in 3 superior rooms. All 3 couples had to change rooms at least once for various reasons. The front desk staff (bar Delvin) were utterly incompetent. The positives were few. Perhaps, the food in the first floor restaurant the only redeeming feature. Would not recommend this hotel. It is closer to 2 than 4 star, and definitely not for non-smokers.

It is definitely value for money given the size/cleanliness of the room. The location is a little off from what the happenings are thou. Nevertheless, will recommend to friends visiting KL!
