Pros: Situated in a prime location, Bukit Bintang, walking distance to shopping belt consisting of KLCC, Pavillion mall, Berjaya Times Square. Very accommodating and helpful staff especially concierge, room service, porter and doormen. Hotel facilities (esp pool) are generally well maintained with sufficient parking lots. Complimentary parking available to guests. Room (1505) stayed is pretty spacious for a 3-person family.
Cons: Cleanliness of room (Room 1505) is not up to expectations - red stain on carpet (wine I hope!), peeling and stained wall papers, dust bunnies at certain corners of room.

A great hotel,
We were more than pleased with our stay at the Dorsett hotel. We requested a none smoking room, which we recieved. Our room was a good size, very clean with a king size bed and fresh white linen,.flat screen T.V. bar fridge and 2 comfy arnchairs. The air con worked very well, probably a bit to cool but that was the only complaint we had. The bathroom was lovely and also very clean with fresh white towels. The shower is over the bath but that didn't bother us, There was pleanty to choose from for breakfast to suit all nationalities and everything was kept hot and topped up. We enjoyed using the egg station each morning but there was no bacon! There was always fresh fruit, usually bananas, pineapple and pawpaw. We found the staff always helpful and pleasant. The Dorsett is in a good location, not far from the Pavillion Shopping Centre, which has a great, cheap food court on the bottom floor,
Great hotel in a good location
This hotel is great value for money. The location is very good as it is within walking distance of a few of the shopping malls. It is also within a short taxi trip to some of the points of interest like the Petronas towers. The food and accomodation were very good. There is a big selection at the buffet that would suit all nationalities I believe. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

room for improvement
Stayed for one night on 25 jan. checking in and out were fast. given double queen bedsroom on 16th floor. There's shampoo, body wash and lotion. Toilet was half-choked that not even a toilet paper can be flushed away in a single flush. Room temperature cannot be adjusted so we were freezing. The next morning no newspapers were delivered although mentioned in package. The most unpleasant incident was to have the room cleaner knock on our door repeatedly at 8.20am to enquire if we are checking out that day.
Overall is very good! Just have to improve on some areas like:
•The Air-con is not strong enough
•Have some channels for kids like Disney channel
•Cleaniness can be improved as we found hair on our bed when we just checked in.
