Value for money
Accommodation quite good and comfortable. Furnitures however needs to be maintained, many with edges chipped off. Some plug points not functioning. Shower room, no complains, good hot showers. Breakfast is good.

Walk to monorail & above-ground rail make it accessible to everything. The Mall shopping centre a walk away.Gym & pool were virtually unoccupied when we were there.

I booked this hotel the last minute.All KL hotels were fully booked at that time and I was lucky Dynasty had a room.The receptionist was very patient as there was one angry lady infront of me complaining about her room.I asked her if she could give us an extra bed and she told us that all the beds were taken.And instead of getting the normal deluxe room,she gave us a family suite for the rate that was stated in asiarooms.It was really big for the 3 of us but it was fun.Maybe they could do better with their toilets and lift management.A concierge at the lift would be good because there were many Chinas at that time and they wont budge to give you way to go out.The breakfast buffet was okay.Could have given us more range.I would probably come here again the next time I visit KL

The hotel is located at about 300m from the very last stop on Monorail but is a long way from any sites of interest or entertainment.
The staff are at best indifferent at worst incompetent and downright ignorant, I got out of the taxi ,the concierge just stood and looked offered no help with bags, the receptionist was very poor ,more interested with talking to her friend than checking me in,it took 10mins to get my key. The check out was no better took 2 of them 20mins to check out the person in front of me.
The hotel has around 28 floors served by around 6 lifts all exceedingly slow. The restaurants in the hotel are appalling, service non existent ,food quality disgusting, absolutely no consideration given to western travellers especially with breakfast.
I stay in hotels all over asia and this is about one of the worst in its price range that I have stayed in recently.

We originally stayed in this hotel for 3 nights whilst we waited for our flight back home after leaving Bangkok early due to the riots at the time.
Our first stay was fairly good with no major complaints. The room and bathroom was massive with a very comfy bed and amazing views of Kuala Lumpur. The decor was somewhat outdated however it was not a big issue.
The breakfast provided was reasonable however it was limited for western travellers and I found myself struggling to find something different to eat.
I found the staff to be polite however service wasn't the best. The girl we normally dealt with behind reception spoke very quietly and had to ask her to repeat herself a lot.
We ended up staying here for an additional 3 nights as our flight was cancelled due to volcanic ash in the UK. This stay was a lot worse than the first.
Although we had just checked out 4 hours ago, check in the second time took much longer than what it should have. When we finally got to our room, it was obvious that this room was not one which was used often. The toilet did not work properly and it was not possible to plug the TV in as it had a foreign plug but UK plug sockets in the wall. We asked to change our room which took over 30 minutes.
There was also 3 power cuts to our floor which took at least an hour each time to resolve.

STAYED AT THIS HOTEL ON BUSINESS TRIP 2 TIMES. LOCATION QUITE GOOD BUT BATH ROOM SERIOUSLY NEED UPGRADING. ROOM SIZE IS GOOD GIVEN THE PRICE OF RM150.

Thank you for booking us at the Dynasty again. We were there now twice (2008/2009) and everything at the Hotel was ok. It is good located near a Monorail Station and a City Rail station and Taxi service is provided without problems. (Cheap because of the very good petrol price !) We have had a very pleasant stay over there and would book it again.
