The hotel itself, especially the buffet breakfast, are fantastic. Our room (539) had a very dated interior, smelled damp, and the windows let in a lot of noise from the karaoke bar in the mall adjacent. It is a very good size room though, biggest hotel room I've seen, just needs a facelift. Very nice staff at the hotel.

Having stayed at the Federal before we...
Having stayed at the Federal before we were disappointed with the cleanliness and other areas of the room. The sheets on the bed needed changing as they were in a dreadful condition. This was done very quickly after we complained. Also the electrical state of the roomn was poor. One switch for a standing light was covered in tape that was falling off and one bedside light was broken with a metal arm hanging by the feed wire. Also the master switch operated by the door card did not work. All complaints rectified quickly but none should have been there in the first place. A shame as a freindly hotel, good location but let down with major problems. In need of a refurb before we would return.

This old hotel is located in the...
This old hotel is located in the busy area, Bukit Bintang. It's very ideal for shopping & eating lover. The hawker centre, where you can eat nice foods on the street side with budget price, is just less than 5 minutes walking. For shopping, there are a lot of shopping centres near the hotel, such as Lot 10, BB Plaza, etc. However, the hotel must do some renovation, especially for the room & bathroom, since it looks so old compared to other hotels on the same area. Also, please be patient when trying to reach this hotel, because you will always experience the traffic jam !

I was really let down during my...
I was really let down during my stay at the Hotel as the service was lacking. The business centre was not opened most of the time, the ground staff were generally rude though the executives fared better. The rooms need to be upgraded, carpets changed & small roaches can be seen on the beds at times.

Hotel location is great but the only...
Hotel location is great but the only setback is the hotel parking facilities is lousy. It does not have it's own hotel underground parking. Guest will need to park their vehicle at the next door shopping mall carpark. Very unsecure!

I had stayed in the Federal hotel...
I had stayed in the Federal hotel for 2 times , when I stayed I realise that the Tv in my room was a "old" type model, and the toilet flushing was a problem when I used it and I would just rated 3 star hotel.... But the hotel location was great as a very gd reason for me to stay as it has lots of shopping and food around , even the transport is quite convenice too...
