I think this hotel is quite good...
I think this hotel is quite good in almost every way, can not complain. I have't had any problems with loud music from the night club like many other guest seem to have, maybe I'm just lucky but have stayed here at Federal several times. Good location, cleanliness, nice poolarea and also great breakfast is just some of the qualities (I think) Federal stands for. Thanks for my opinion/Karin

This was our third stay at this...
This was our third stay at this hotel and the location is really hard to beat. Unfortunately, I feel we will not stay again as they have an incredibly noisy nightclub/disco/bar on the left hand side (as you enter) the hotel. The music plays from about 5pm until 2/3am every day. The hotel offered us a room without an outside facing window but we decided to use ear plugs rather than have a room without a view and one that needed the lights on during the day. I think the staff are doing all they can for their guests but it really is not a relaxing place to be after a interesting day in a wonderful city.

Overall everything is ok with me. I only want to feedback on the Buffet Breakfast as there are not much variety and the cost for buffet breakfast is also expensive (about RM $42++). Hope you all can consider to reduce the price.

there is close to the hotel an open bar with music till 3 am. it is unbearable , you feel like sleeping in a night club . the hotel should invest in soundproof windows, it is impossible to sleep.... the location is great but this sound nuisance is not worth a 4 star hotel ... I wrote a letter to the manager because I stayed 4 nights, 4 nights I didn't sleep.Furthermore , the 1rst room I was given when I cheched in was not cleaned, so I had to go back to the reception to be given an other room. as a conclusion : great location (during the day ), great price ( 48 euros/night ) but poor quality...

Hi there, we stayed there because it is a very handy location to everything that you ever need for a tourist such as, electronic shops, clothing, food outlets and lively area till late, as well as a nice service that we received, hotel is clean, bright and everything are working nicely, thanks for everything and it is recommended to family budget, breakfast was nice too, room cleaned and fresh. Thanks again.

We found the room rather small. the pool was nice to have after a warm day of walking. alltogether we believe we payed a lot of money and could have done better.

every trip to KL i would stay...
every trip to KL i would stay in Federal but tis time the trip was pretty disappointing. The room was clean but the electric kettle was way rusty. It leaked too. And mind you, the water in the shower was yellowish dude...i din even dare to do my bubble bath. The reception desk indicates "cashier". Maybe they should change it to "Check-out" instead cos' everybody was hogging there not knowing tat its actually for checking-out guests.. overall it was o.k

The hotel was in a great location...
The hotel was in a great location with plenty to see and great shopping at our doorstep. Unfortunately, the nightclub next door plays very loud music until 2am. Asiarooms representative was very helpful and got our room changed from the 5th floor that was directly over the loud music to a quieter room on the 14th floor. Thanks! The bathroom was full of roaches that were coming up through the pipes in the sink, we mentioned this to the reception staff, with no response or comment from him. Apart from these things, overall our stay has been pleasant enough.

Some small irritations, but overall not to...
Some small irritations, but overall not to bad. Large room. Nice pool. Drainage in bathroom had a blockage downstream so emptying the bathtub made water flow out the bathroom floor drain (I probably could have change room but was too lazy). Bedsheets had some small stains in places.
