Stayed only for a night as a...
Stayed only for a night as a stopover enroute home. The hotel is centrally located in the Shopping district. Service is as expected. No issue encountered. Unfortunately, we had a room on the 6th floor overlooking the main road, Jln Bukit Bintang. Throughout the nite, the traffic noise & sirens waere heard until the wee hrs. Hence, we did not get a good rest as intended. The windows installed were wall to wall & the panes were found to be poorly erected without sufficient no insulation to prevent the traffic noise emitting into the room.

overall hotel absolutely alright but location not so good noise from the next block too loud till very late night and the toilet facilities for washing after doing buisness not available?

I normally stay in Federal Hotel in...
I normally stay in Federal Hotel in Jalan Bukit Bintang whenever I'm in KL, Malaysia for business and holiday. The reason for to pick Federal is because of its location. However, the recent stayed at Federal had spoiled my holiday. Reasons : - 1) There were many cockroaches, mostly the baby size, in the room. 2) The shower water was too slow. The water temperature was also unable to control. When I called up the operator for help, without asking me further questions, they sent the technician up to fit it up with a new shower head. This showed me that they had known the problem, probably received feedback previously, but did not get it fixed till my call. I hope the hotel management could take a pro-active role in assuring good maintenance programme and up keep the room cleanliness. I am not sure how the hotel management to do in order to win back my confidence in staying at Federal again ??

A very good hotel situated right in...
A very good hotel situated right in the heart of Kl and convenient for all shopping and entertainment requirements. Easily accessible from the airport within 50 minutes by rai/taxi or taxi. Aklso well situated for the sights of KL. Service and staff were very good but room was a little small for two people; there are larger rooms availabe. Overall, a very good hotel which is inexpensive and serves a good breakfast.

My first bedroom was poor quality Small...
My first bedroom was poor quality Small and vieuw to a wall. When I complained only with a talk to a boss my room was changed to a little better quality. Inchecking took 20 minutes. Asking for the key of the room mostly some minutes. No friendly staff. Many times missing bathroom facilities like towels and so on.

There were a few minor problems but...
There were a few minor problems but were fixed immediately when we told the front desk. The staff were very helpful. Location was very good. Overall, it was good valu.

The hotel itself is good. A superior room only has twin beds so we were told even though we requested a queen size bed. They could have made up a room with two twin beds together. Maybe that could be stated by Asia Rooms. The location is excellent - good walking distance to monorail, shops and restaurants with taxis easy to get. The big drawback which spoilt the stay was it was next to the Outback Bar which plays music??? until 3pm+ every night - extremely loud - the bed vibrates it is that loud - very hard to get to sleep and then you get woken up constantly. We complained to the staff who said they could not do anything about it as it is not part of the hotel. If you do stay there - pre-book a room opposite side from the Outback Bar. The breakfast which was included was generally okay - good variety and fresh. If I could get a room away from the Outback I'd maybe stay there again but would look at other options for the price first.

Our recent stay at the Federal Hotel...
Our recent stay at the Federal Hotel was really good and restful. The location is good, within walking distance to shopping centres and restaurants. The rooms were a good size and the housekeeping was excellent. I would definitely recommend this Hotel and would stay at the Federal Hotel on my next visit to KL.

It's an Excellent Place for shoppers who...
It's an Excellent Place for shoppers who don't really mind about services and toilet standards. It is situated right in the centre of the bukit bintang and has a very good salsa club. I cant complain much, as this is really a value for money room. But if you're willing to pay more, the hotel beside this is really a much better choice.
