The room was spacious, if a little threadbare. Though the room was made-up, but the pillowcases were not changed as I noticed a stain on the pillow the previous night that was still there after they made up the room.
And the toilet has a faulty flush, which required me to remove the lid and do some repair work myself! The batteries in the TV remote were flat, but once we alert the concierge, they sent up the batteries (wrong sizes though) in an hour.
The check-in counter is forever busy, so it is difficult to get anyone's attention. And the breakfast spread was very limited and didn't taste as good as I heard it was. I chose to forgo the breakfast the next day for some decent grub outside.
Despite that, I had an enjoyable time in KL since Federal is within walking distance to the popular shopping spots and just a street away is a fabulous street selling wonderful hawker food and a massage parlour where you can enjoy a 45mins massage for just 50 ringgit!
