The location of the hotel is fantastic...
The location of the hotel is fantastic as it is opposite Jalan Alor, the night time food street and various malls, like Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Starhill, Times Square etc.
The room is simple in deco and furnishing, lacking the style and soft touches expected of a 4-star hotel (by the way, was "upgraded" from a deluxe room to a heritage room at the old wing of the hotel). The toilet has slight flushing problem and the shower head was in need of replacement. A small cockroach was also spotted coming out from under the bed.
The breakfast spread was acceptable and the cafe is quite packed. Bad service, was not shown to a table and served coffee or tea, but was expected to look for 1 on our own. Need to get the waitress to clean up and set the table. Would recommend the hotel solely for its location. For better service and more comfort in room and during breakfast, would consider other hotels nearby.
