Nearest to Chinatown
Chinatown was excactly location for person who like nightime for shopper. So you can walk its about 5 menit to get there.
Hotel is in a great location, right next to Chinatown, so lots to see and places to eat are all around. My room was good, very clean. There needs to be a chest of drawers to put clothes in, if, like me you are staying longer than a couple of nights and would like to unpack your suitcase.
There is no tourist information available at the hotel, apart from one brochure out-lining a local area walking tour. There are tours available from the hotel. Unfortunately when I tried to book one, I was told by a staff member on the desk that he would "get back to me" about availability, which did not happen. When I asked again, no-one knew what I wanted. Staff were not helpful when I asked for alternative locations I may book a tour from.
Some refurbishment needed
The hotel is perfectly situated, walking distance form most of the sites and the busy night life quarter. However, the rooms are to a degree in need of refurbishment:
1) Joinery has gaps
2) Piping ...
Another disadvantage was that the price was with no perks at all - everyhting else had to be paid additionally.
Still, I believe it is a very reasonable choice or KL and if back in town would probably stay there again.
Very disappointed with the services provided by the hotel. First day of stay with no hot water, hair blower spoilt and water sink choke. Second day, used towels not replaced. Compliant 3 times before it get replaced finally aftre 45 mins.
a pleasant stay
My only disappointment was that there was no toothbrush, face towel and floor towel provided. I think most guests would have expected this.
Not 4-star
Hotel is well located very near Chinatown, but rooms are definitely not 4-star. More like 2 1/2 star.
Good hotel, nice location
Nice hotel walking distance from Chinatown which is very interesting. Had a nice room with view on Twin Towers. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly, value for money.
value for money, good location, but small bathroom and bed
+ the hotel`s location is good. Petaling street, kasturi walk, central market, and LRT station only hundred meters away. easy bus access, direct bus in front of the hotel to sunway lagoon and KL sentral. many mini market, farmacy, and food centre around the hotel. good and friendly staff
- the bathroom is too small, without bathtub. and no swimming pool too. i guess it should be a 3.5 star hotel rather than 4 star.also they have no king size bed for standard room,only have queen size, which became a problem for me because i had small children,need bigger bed.the AC didn`t work properly, and the interior is rather old.
overall, it is good for money, considered we only need the hotel for sleep only.
Excellent value for money
Room felt a little on the small side - mainly due to the fact there is a big desk in the room which takes up a lot of space. This isn't a problem though as you want to go out to explore the city!
Very close to Chinatown, monorail station, Bukit Bintang area. Hotel very clean and modern and the breakfast choice was great. Would definitley stay here again.
