The room has an average size. We previously requested high floors and were duly given so.The very obvious problem to this hotel is the state of cleanliness. Not our first visit to this hotel and the furnishings are basically the same. We had encounters with cockroaches before and again we had the unfortunate dealings again this time round. The bathrooms is no better. While the sink does not allow the water to flow out smoothly, there is a leakage down under and that really irks us. The buffet spread is great though, once you are late, braced yourslef to battle for seats as th cafe seems very popular for locals too. The shine for this hotel is the accessibility to the shopping plces around. There's Chinatown(famous Petaling Street), nearby Central market, the great Mydin mall and lots of eating places. If the state of cleanliness is improved, the stay there will be perfect!!

We were happy with most aspects of the hotel including service, food etc. However we were upset about the great number of cockroaches that were about. We realise that it is a problem common in Malaysia but in a hotel of this standard it is very disappointing.

The size of the room was great,...
The size of the room was great, but the bathroom was a little small and the shower was not very good. There were also some small insects in there, but this is pretty common in SE Asia. Unfortunately I got a room that faced onto the main road, so I suggest if you want something quieter then ask for it. The location was great, right next door to the famous Petaling Street and close to the train station too. It was noisy though, so maybe not for those wanting a more relaxed setting. The breakfast was lovely and staff were pretty friendly. For the price this hotel is great, but not the best.

My family and I had a good experience in this hotel. All else was up to my expectation except your house keeping department. What happened was on the morning at around 9.00 am on my check-out day, I rang your house-keeping department to request for a roll of toilet paper informing her of our urgency. As you are aware, our room are meant for three occupants and trust that you'll agree that one toilet roll was not sufficient. We waited until 10.30am but the house- keeper was still not there, we had no choice but to tell my wife & son to do their business at the Lobby washroom. Not very nice, right?? I would like to commend the staff manning the entrance of the coffee house where we had our breakfast, she was very friendly and competent in her duties as well. The breakfast wae sumptous too.

I would to suggest that the hotel provide free local phone calls. And may considered to have a bath tub for each room in it own bathroom, cos some of the couple might came for honeymoon and they can enjoy the romance.

I'll give 65% for overall rating. I hope that there will be an improvement in the quality of the breakfast though the hotel served a variety of food. As for the room, we were expecting a bigger room since we requested for triple room. Thanks.

We stayed for 2 nights. The aircon...
We stayed for 2 nights. The aircon and fridge did in our room did not work but was fixed after complaining. No hot water in the bathroom, complained but was never fixed. Only 1 half used roll of toilet paper for the 2 nights needless to say we ran out of paper. The glasses we used in our room was not washed or replaced. The room keycard only worked sometimes and we had to go back to reception on numerous occations to get it re-programmed. Other quests also complained about the keycard not working. We asked reception for ice (remember the fridge did not work) and was send to the restaurant where the staff unwillingly gave us one small glass of ice. The hotel is close to the Chinatown shopping area and close to the station but I am certain that for the same price you can get another hotel in a safer, cleaner area where the amenities will work and friendly staff. The porter and the maintenance man was the only staff who tried to be helpfull.
