Good KL experience
Ancasa Hotel is a perfect stay if you want to explore KL and the city surrounding areas.
The hotel itself is situated in the heart of China town, close to Little India, close to public transport, close the crafts market and close to an enormous amount of fast food outlets.
It is definitly value for your money. Dont expect fire works, but everything was decent and we had no complaints.
I will stay at Ancasa anytime and future. In fact, Ancasa is my prefered place to stay in KL.
There are plenty to choose from at breakfast. Even while the hotel is situated in the hussle and bussle, we experienced calmness and quietness inside our room. The view was awesome.
Although the bedding, room and towels might not receive a 4star award, the staff, location and the assistance definitly does.
Thank you Ancasa for making my KL trip memorable.

Value for the cost
I have stayed at the Ancasa hotel a number of times now and I would say that overall, it is a quality hotel. It is not a posh, gold taps and fruit basket type hotel where every whim is fulfilled but as a place to stay that is comfortable and clean, it will not disappoint. Sure, there are better places but it has to be balanced with cost and Ancasa is value for the money. The staff too are people friendly and courteous.
The Queen bed in my room was very comfortable and the beddings are very clean. Pillows were squishy, sheets very clean and a good blanket is provided in case one gets cold. The carpeted floor is clean and the towels are too and very white and thick. A good sign that all is within reason for the class. The room furnishings and all the lamp shades give the room a cozy ambiance with a flat screen TV to round it off. A safe is provided as well as a bar fridge and water is free as well as coffee making facilities. Totally unexpected is a white dressing gown as a bonus. Very useful walking around the room in.
One slightly sore point is the plumbing. The toilet is clean and very useful with amenities like shampoo, toothpaste and so forth but surely you'd think gray water would drain quicker and the shower would not have leaks along the flexible hose but it does and the toilet floor is a mess after a shower. A very small item that can be fixed by housekeeping.
Now for the breakfast, it would seem that the hotel has started to tighten-up on food costs as there are not as many choices as there were on my other stays in the past. Which is sad as the breakfasts on offer before were really great. Now it just seems so basic and just plain nutrition for people in a hurry to go somewhere. Still okay but I missed the variety.
I would still come back as the place is so handy to everything and very reasonable but with a few improvements.

Good, Clean, Modern Hotel in a Good Location
The hotel is very clean and modern in a good location. The booking was done online through there AsiaRooms website at discounted price. Check in and check out were smooth. The hotel is located in China Town, 5 minutes walk from the Pudu Raya bus station and Plaza Rakyat MRT.
The room had a nice bed, desk, A/C, Free Wi-Fi (new login details required daily), TV, phone, Wardrobe, Hairdryer, bedside tables, a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities along with bottles of water that were replaced daily. The shower was clean although could take a few minutes to reach a nice temperature. The view from the room (710) allowed you to see the Twin towers and KL tower, but also overlooked a school yard that was quite noisy in the morning as there seemed to be a gap in the window.
Breakfast was also very good and varied. Buffet style with eggs cooked to order, bread (or toast), jams, Pancakes, Sausage, Baked Beans, Potato, Noodles, Rice, Asian Porridge, fresh fruit and yoghurt and many other little variations every day along with juice, tea/coffee and water.
The staff were always very friendly and were ready to open the door for you as soon as you came with a few metres of the entrance. There were many restaurants within 5 minutes walk, including the many of China Town, plus McDonalds, KFC, Nandos, etc. Problems with WiFi password and electricity going off once, were both sorted within 5 minutes. They also arranged a taxi to the airport for a reasonable 80RM.

Great location in KL
We stayed in Ancasa for the third time, and when we go back to Malaysia we will probably stay there again. It is a very comfortable hotel. It is right in Chinatown, and very close to many restaurants and interesting places like Central Market. It is also close to public transport that in KL is very efficient. At Ancasa all the staff are friendly and helpful and efficient and and it is clean and has all the facilities we needed, including internet, laundry, room service and nice areas to meet friends and have a drink with them downstairs. We did not use their spa or their restaurants or their tours, so there are more services available.

Excellent Location with great carpark security
Check in was supposely to be at 2pm but when we arrived at 12.30pm, we were given our rooms straight away. We booked standard room but was upgrade to deluxe room for free! We got to stay at the 10th floor. The room was huge and very clean. The bed sheets were very clean and very soft. We could sleep very calmly and had troubles getting up due to too comfortable. LOL. What's important is we need a carpark that ensure security. We got that! Not only its safe, its free for hotel guest. Great location just next to Chinatown. Walking distance from Masjid India and Market Street. If you know the way to the MRT & LRT everywhere is accessible easily. I simply enjoy my stay in Ancasa. I'll definitely come back again to stay in Ancasa.
