Stayed for 5 days at the JW...
Stayed for 5 days at the JW Marriott. Its location is very convenient since it's right in the middle of all those shopping malls. There's also a monorail station at the nearby Lot 10 Center. We arrived at the hotel at 1am due to a delayed flight and what cn be a better way to welcome us by upgrading us into a suite, just what one needs after what seems to be a titring flight. Hotel staff are very helpful. Room always clean, beds very comfy. Breakfast though needs some improvement as well as the staff at the poolside. They don't seem to understand English too well, thus giving us our wrong order. i would strongly recommend this hotel and also book through Asia Rooms.

Nick and I had a fantastic experience at the J W Marriott. It's clean, convenient, classy and the beds are super comfy. I'll be staying at the J W Marriott everytime I go to Kuala Lumpur now.

Yeah, stayed at the J W Marriott hotel twice now and it is EXCELLENT. Perhaps could do with a 24 hr bar or coffee shop. but otherwise great location and great hotel

we arrived in Kl at 5am and...
we arrived in Kl at 5am and walked up and down Bukit Bintang looking for a hotel. The Marriot was the only hotel to have a vacancy (school holiday period 10/12/2004). Service was very attentive although detached. The stay was pleasant, breakfast was great (get there early). Room was big and comfortable. No complaints.
Location is great as it is right on Bukit Bintang. The Jazz group in the Star Hill Centre was superb!

Excelent location. very reasonable price for sucha a hotel. We just had some troble checking in. We were told that our room was canceled since we arrive after 6pm. fortunatelly I had the copy of my credit card statement showing the full payment. Don´t let them send you to the Ritz Carlton.. and ask for the Petronas View at the JW Marriott. I would come back again for sure.

The location is excellent being downtown and...
The location is excellent being downtown and within walking distance to many things. Taxis are extremely cheap and easily accessible. The room was spacious and clean, staff were very nice and friendly. The 'Shook' restaurants were excellent and the overall service by the waiting staff at this location was high. Service at breakfast tended to be aimed at the business clientele and the staff could have been more pleasant. However it is a great place in KL we would recommend. Perfect location.
