Location location location
We have stayed at this hotel 4 times before and although the hotel is looking a little tired we would stay here again purely for the location. Right in the middle of everything this hotel is good value for money.
The pool and its surrounds are very clean and inviting to help you relax and cool off after a hard days shopping.
The staff speak very good english and are very helpful if you need anything.
If you can look past a bit of the wall paper lifting on the corners and the carpets in the hall having many a story to tell, you will enjoy the loaction.
On this visit we did encounter a smoker on our non smoking floo r andit took 3 comments to the front reception before any action was taken.
The breakfast has a good selection of food but sometimes some off it was cold. We can recommend the roti canai.

Good hotel, excellent location, very good clean room. All in all a good choice which was good value for money.
Excellent location...
Excellent location with lots of eateries around and also very near to major tourist attraction. The only downside is there is no door bell for rooms and it gets irritating as we got housekeepers knocking out door twice in the morning asking if our rooms needs cleaning up and we need to sign a document if we do not require that.
To add on, do not order pizzas from their room service menu as it taste horrible. The 4 of us took a mouth of it and the rest went into the bin, It was that bad!

Ok but not more
The location was good easy walk to shoppingmalls.Found one very good restaurant nearby named outback.The bed in my room was very good and nice bathrooms but decor in room was about 25 years old and the same with the carpet.Im staying about 50 nights pr/year in hotel in this was the worst breakfast buffet i ever seen,they better not serving breakfast.Then they get better star rating from me.
Fantastic value
The royale bintang in kl is great. Close to lots of shopping and only a street away from all the eating stalls which are cheap and tasty. The hotel is at the end of the bars & "red light" district, though security very good with people on watch. Rooms great, even though our toilet leaked a little. Room service excellent. All staff very friendly. Concierge called taxi and got price for us every time. And were very helpful in letting us know where to go etc... If catching sky bus from lcct via kl sentral taxi only about 15 ringet. Just one thing, the shower was over the bath, which was fine for us, but if someone had a mobility issue, it may be a little hard climbing over the bath into the shower. The rooms were clean as was the whole of the hotel. The swimming pool area great, though it would have been nice for it to stay open a little later than 7.30pm.. Say even to 9.30 would have been better. I would highly recommend the royale bintang and we will definitely stay there again. Value for money...

LOCATION: all i have to say is this hotel located at a strategic place, u go east, west, north or west, u will find a lot of shops.. it is nearer to some attraction places such as Low Yat, BB Plaza, sg wang, Lot 10, and Pavillion.. alsoBerjaya Time Square.
ROOM CONDITION: the room was OK.. quite big and can fit four people per room. the air- conditioner sometimes hot.. ( therefore if u want to make your room cool all the time, do not turn off if you are not in the room). whereas the toilet didn't have the hose.. its very hard for us to 'poo'. we have to go to the lobby's toilet.
those who love shopping or holiday with a family, i would recommend to stay here!
