Maya is my favorite stay in KL
The only complaint I have is that when I asked to get a dress pressed, they did not have a working iron at their laundry service. So I had to press it myself which wasn't too much of a hassle. Otherwise the service was top notch and being our second stay, I would definitely cone back and stay here again.

General comment
It is a good location for those who likes shopping, good view of KLCC especially from the sky lounge. However, the only problem is that, the area with heavy traffic flow.
Upon check in, the bellman notice there's three of us, he quickly offered for an extra bed at a price of RM80 inclusive breakfast.
We received a prompt service when we requested for basic needs.
For examples towels, toilet tissue etc. There was a follow up calls from your service operator confirming the items received.
The breakfast selections are well spread for asian and westerner, however the service could be "speed-up" and staff seems lack of attentiveness.

Great place to stay
Nice service and provide free upgrade from studio to junior suite. The hotel entrance looks old, however, the interior design is naturally nice.

Maya needs fixing
Hotel Maya has worn down rooms with electrical problems and issues with the air con. We did not have warm water in the shower. Despite complaints from our side and promise from the reception that "We will fix for you" - nothing was done. We did not get to change room either.
The service depended very much on what person you dealt with. No overall policy of good service exists.
Restaurants have really good food. Location is good near KLCC, subways, monorail etc.

We stayed in a standard studio room...
We stayed in a standard studio room 2 adults & 1 child and were very pleasantly surprised at the size and standard of the room. Fantastic hotel with great views of the Petronas towers. The rooms had all amenities and the room was very tastefully decorated. Fantastic hotel and would definitely stay again.

- Location is within good walking distance...
- Location is within good walking distance to KLCC if you intend to shop there or attend conferences. - Cleaniliness is a big big minus when we saw a half rotten apple lying below the desk which was not cleared after the previous guest. - Service was good on the basis that they allowed us a super early check-in at 5am, luckily which a room was available then. - 5 star rating is probably overrated. - Did not like the hotel room floor which is not carpetted, it felt cold to the feet and had to wear paper slippers throughout. - Shower diverter between hand shower and rain shower was not working.

Booked last minute so did not have...
Booked last minute so did not have time to do research. This hotel is really run down and old. However, it was clean. Service - nothing much to shout about. They did however give me a bigger room when asked. No concierge service whatsoever. Even ran out of maps to give out and got a hard to read printed black & white copy. Only suitable for budget travellers or those without high expectations but not too cheap at RM144 excluding taxes (parking FOC).

Conveniently located near Petronas Towers, spacious rooms, nice but basic swimmingpool, Pleasant Gym & Steambath, great service, public transport, taxi and skytrain, available in vincinity of the hotel. Plenty of reastaurants and shops, shopping centre nearby. Not recommended for party people, too far from the night live areas however taxi is available. Mainly visited by seniors, bussines people and families. Not cheap but classy & great value for money.
