A great spot. Lovely boutique style hotel...
A great spot. Lovely boutique style hotel in a good location, just minutes walk from the Petronas towers & train station there.
Nice breakfast buffet and great "skylounge" with amazing open air views over the twin towers - great place for a night cap.
Room was very spacious, with everything you need, and all very nicely decorated.
Also, hydrotherapy pool, which looked nice but we didn't use.
Probably not the cheapest place to stay, but definitely one we would recommend.

The Hotel's Location is excellent. Front desk staff at reception, travel desk etc, were courteous and helpful. we were assisted with change of rooms, early check in-late check out etc..
But Room sizes were little smaller than expected and in a city like KUL, we would expect bigger rooms for the price.
Faclilities - Broad band and telephone facilities were good.
standard of Breakfast - acceptable
SHOWER and WC : was transparent glass enclosed all around. The bathroom surpisingly had a curtain from outside. The Bathrooom(WC) could be closed with a sliding partion ( which had no latch/lock) whcih would either cover the wardrobe, or offer some privacy to the occupant of the shower/WC.
This kind of design may not appeal to many, except business travellers or young couples( perhaps!!!)
Ofcourse the occupant of the WC/SHOWER could have clear view of Petronas towers even from inside the WC. But, if the room has more than one occupant, I am not sure the other occupant would like share the view from within the room.
Overall rating - Value for Money except some recommended design changes.

The hotel staff should learn to be courteous, polite and professional. Working in a 5 star hotel environment, most of the hotel guests expect the same services. Guests doesn't want their holdays to be ruin just because of those negativity. My advise, send staffs for courses eg, etiquette course, grooming and etc in order to overcome those hurdles. My last word, overall rating is 8.5/10. Thank you very much, my wife and I might want to consider staying there again....

The staff were incredibly courteous and friendly, and welcomed our attempts to practise the few phrases of Malay we had learnt. They let us check in early and even gave us a complimentary buffet breakfast. Those buffets were superb.

We enjoyed our stay very much at the Maya. Particularly like the modern deco of the hotel, especially the bathroom. The hotel could provide disposable slippers instead of re-usable ones for hygiene purpose. Bathroom robes not so comfortable, should provide those furry towel type instead of cloth type. TV channels were limited and movies choices were out-dated. Instead of going to the reception to obtain movies, should allow easy access of paid-movies channels in the room instead. Enjoyed the hyrdro-pool but if you prefer a large pool with lotsa of sunlight then you will be disappointed. Overall enjoyed the stay v much and shopping were close enough..15 mins walk to KLCC.

We stayed in a suite. It is large, clean, sylish with a great view of the city. The bathroom is big and fantastic! The hotel lobby beautifully decorated in the sort of modern zen style and it is delight to walk through. There is great pool & gym facilities. The hotel staff are nice & attentive. The hotel is a walking distance or a short cab ride to many palces of intersts, restaurants, and shops.
Maya is within walking distance from KLCC...
Maya is within walking distance from KLCC and has got KL ZOUK just right across the street. Clean rooms and modern toilet fittings make the hotel a comfy place to head back to after a day of hard work or shopping!

Absolutely superb experience for me to stay in Maya Hotel. I stayed in the Maya hotel last year 2004. I found my room is in great condition. Bathroom is very clean and very modern. Room size is also perfect. Receptionist wasn’t very nice when I first arrive in this Hotel. I just stand in reception area and receptionist (Girl) told me rudely “We don’t have any rooms; you have to wait for afternoon”. And it was 5:00 AM morning. But things got better. Because I got the room around 15 minutes after my arrival to this Hotel. Also TV Remote wasn’t working and it took 2 days to fix it. Hotel of this kind shouldn’t do such a thing. I am not complain, this is only a suggestion. But the thing is, this hotel is much cleaner and better than any other hotel at that location. Breakfast was very very good and I enjoyed it very much. The Great, Great and Greatest thing is its view of Twin Tower and KL Tower at night of my room. Every night I sit down front of window comfortably and looking towards the beautiful lights of Twin Tower and KL Tower. This year 2005 I was in KL, and my mistake was not booking this hotel again. I wanted to try another hotel at that location. BIGGEST MISTAKE, BIGGEST. Because this year’s trip became horrible for me because of Hotel. But next time I will not do such a great mistake. I will book this hotel next time definitely. Because I am missing the window view of my room.
