Those were what I could describe staying at the Regent.The room was spacious,interior design of the room was exceptional and the availabilities of the standing shower and the bathtub were great.

The staffs were helpful and friendly;from the bell boy,housekeeping, waiters,front desk to the managers. They never failed to impress me..
I had been to most of the hotels in KL; from four to five stars hotels and I think that the Regent was the best hotel that I had ever been.Good job, Regent!!
Staying at the Regent was the best, most memorable and sweetest experience that I had in KL.I can't wait to come back...

the hotel is very well located in the shopping district of Kuala Lumpur, the rooms are confortable unfortunately I couldn't enjoy a nice view from my bedroom as I could see only construction sites nearby but this is not the fault of the Hotel. The swimming pool area is on the contrary spacious and very relaxing. The check-in process was a bit slow and I was very disappointed when they told me that my room was not ready yet (I arrived at 3.30 p.m. after a long journey!)and that I had to wait. After complaining they finally gave me a room in the smoking floor. Another disappointed was that although I had a kettle in the room to boil water, there were not instant coffee and tea bags available which usually are provided by hotels of the same standard. Neverthelss my stay at the hotel was pleasant and I don't hesitate to reccomend it.

The room smelled horrible. I requested a non-smoking floor, and low and behold I was put in one. The breakfast was excellent though.
