Just got back week from a stay at the Grand Millenium would definately recommend it to anyone, everything was great, staff were fantastic, which puts you in a beautiful mood to start with, especially if you have never travelled there before, settles your mind. The location was perfect, right next door was the Pavillion shopping mall and 5 minute walk to the right was BB Plaza and low yat plaza all had places to eat no problem at all. This was the 3rd time I have booked through AsiaRooms and again no problems at all, very straightforward and easy to do, thanks.

A very nice hotel. The rooms are big and very clean. The hotel has good facilities next to it (restaurants and 2 malls). Finally the room dinning service is excellent. The food is tasty, clean, and very well served. I recommend this hotel although it is a bit expensive as it is a 5 star hotel is a luxury location.

We had booked a deluxe room "Merriment...
We had booked a deluxe room "Merriment Deal" which included breakfast for 2 adults and up to 2 children and arrived late but got upgraded to a studio suite on the 17th floor - very clean, plenty of space, big beds, including an extra fold-up delivered for our son. Really good views, including the top half of the Petronas Towers. Facilities in the room and bathroom were great and plentiful. The pool was big, warm and suitable for all ages. When we in the pool, it started to rain while we were in the water so the attendant quietly erected a large umbrella over our clothes and provided us with extra towels - a really good touch. The main (and only) real downer was the toilet (which appears to be a common problem in Malaysia). Flushing the toilet often didn't work properly and we also managed to twist the handle off the WC twice. Both times, housekeeping responded very quickly but this shouldn't happen consistently in a high class hotel. The service from staff was warm, friendly and genuine. Housekeeping service in particular was very efficient, not just with the above problem. The location in Bukit Bintang is also pretty good - plenty of shops and good restaurants surrounding. Small irritations: 1. The deal I had booked included breakfasts for 2 adults and 2 children up to the age of 12 - at both checking in and out, I was initially asked to pay extra for my son (who is 12 yo)- this should have been fixed at checkin. 2. While breakfast had a very extensive range of choices, I had been looking forward to eating my favourite Malaysian breakfast after an absence of about 8 years - Roti Canai. However, the roti at the buffet breakfast was old and dry, unlike he roti that had been prepared individually for us earlier in rural Malaysian towns. Overall, while the irritations should be addressed by management, they would not be enough to put me off staying here again. A fabulous hotel!

The Grand Millennium's biggest draw, esp for...
The Grand Millennium's biggest draw, esp for shopaholics of luxury brands, is its unbeatable location being right next door to Pavilion Mall. But I want to recommend it for its quiet charm - having lost part of its original lustre & being decidedly less showy that its 2 newer neighbours across the street. Plus it offers efficient & cheerful service at front desk & breakfast room.

The reception staff and the concierge were not friendly. I did not feel as though the hotel welcomed tourists. It seemed more suited to business travelers. It was very clean and had all the amenities that you would need and the location was excellent.

Again a wonderful time spent at the Grand Millenium Hotel! It was our second stay & we've already booked to stay there again in January next year. We spent 5 nights at the JW Marriott in KL a couple of weeks ago (just to do a bit of a comparison) but there's no way you can compare the 2 hotels. The Millenium's service was exceptional. The ambience & atmosphere is welcoming & very accomadating. The service at the Marriott was....well...lack-lustre to say the least. We definately are not going to waste our time with comparisons anymore- in KL -it's Grand Millenium every time for us!

The best with this Hotel is the location. The breakfast is not international no god in my European mind. Another thing we did not like there`s a club in the hotel, witch we were denied access to because i hade shorts a pair of Brand shorts (Camel). Hallo its 30 degres celsius outside. The rooms ok. Personal beside the personal in the Club Exellent. Kenneth/Sweden

Good breakfast selection, nice room, good location. Interieur rather old-fashioned and dark, esp. breakfast area. Staff is friendly and English speaking but sometimes not able to handle the amount of hotel guests' request which leads to long waiting times for check-in or check-out. Gym and pool area are enjoyable. Still, overall rather a 4* than a 5* impression of the hotel.
