Fantastic Hotel for short weekend stay!!
The Hotel was fantastic in every scene of the word. From reception to the use of the Horizon Lounge as a family with small children we were always shown a warm vibe throughout our stay.
The Staff in the Horizon Club,, especially a young man called Frederick were great chatty and kept us informed about all the facilities that were available.
I will be returning to KL for a shopping trip and will use the Shangri La Fantastic Facility well ran, thankyou for making our first stay in KL a great one!!!

My wife and i brought our kids...
My wife and i brought our kids to Shangri La for a short getaway. Upon checking at the counter, the customer service gave me a warm smile. When she saw my kids approaching, checking on their system and told me that they will be giving me a slightly bigger room for our family. Its a free upgrade!!! What more can i say?
Shangri La always gave excellent service no matter when it comes to in room dining or service.
Other than the view, there's nothing that i dislike.

Walkable to KLCC on cool days or at night.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I have travelled all over the world.

Room is much smaller and plain from what we expected to get from 5-star hotel. A guy woke us up at 9.30 a.m. to ask if we took anything from minibar!!! The rest are fine. Good location, nice buffet, and friendly staff.
The only problem was with construction work...
The only problem was with construction work that was going all around. Small swimming pool. And no Petronus Towers view as promisess

There were renovation happening to this hotel while we were staying. Nothing intrusive, just need to remember to close the blinds if you want some privacy during the day! We were in our room relaxing and suddenly we saw several workmen outside the window on the 28th floor! Luckily we were decent, otherwise it'd be highly embarrassing. (That's why I only give 3/5 for Facilities).
Fitness Center is well-equipped, but the equipments are showing their age. The pool is nice, but renovation around making it a bit "unfriendly".
We stayed at Horizon Club floor, the service was excellent! On the second day, the staff members all addressed us by our last name. The hotel was busy with conference business people. However, during the day, we were the only couple using the club floor and facilities. We were treated like king!! Highly recommended for leisure travelers who enjoy 5-star luxury and not worrying about the cost.

I was especially pleased that the staff were able to arrange a flight for my companion on the same two flights as myself at such late notice.
All staff were very patient and helpful except for -
When I entered the hotel at 7:30pm I was not asked if I wanted a meal or was I told where the dining room was or at what time evening meals would stop being served. Hence I ate out.
