sheraton stay
The hotel is well furnished and the service is excellent.
Overnight stay in KL
Check in is supposed to be at 3pm, i turned up at 1pm and the room was ready and they let me have it. clean room, nice clean bedding, comfortable beds. i most liked the fact that you can plug in your own laptop etc. using s-video, hdmi or svga and watch whatever you like on the big 40" sony tv. they also have a dvd player. bathroom is clean and decent supplies. well worth the stay especially as its so close to everything also, especially KLCC and the KL Tower (Menara). if you pay a little extra you can get a room with a view of the Petrona Twin Towers, a perfect backdrop over a nice in room romantic meal.
The room I stayed at looked amazing. Only downside is a small area of the carpet stepping into the bathroom has been damaged but not repaired, and there is no separate shower screens so water runs over the bathroom floor after a shower!
Felt at home
After 4 weeks of travel around Thailand and Indonesia it was great to end our trip at the Sheraton. Fantastic spacious room with two queen super comfortable beds. Great clean bathroom and the walk in wardrobe came in handy with all our luggage. I booked for the buffet breakfast and it didn't dissapoint. The hotel staff were friendly and super fast in responding to requests. Will definitely return. And will stay longer next time...
Room Design Needs Improvement
Good Service, Centrally located and comfortable room but the night curtains cannot be drawn resulting in full due to design, resulting outside light coming in the room at night. If one can sleep with well lit room along with constant water flushing noise from the adjoining rooms, then it is ok. It appears that rooms partition insulation is very flimsy.
I stayed here a few years ago and was very impressed so chose to stay there again...we were both very happy with everything at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was the best I've experienced and the staff were genuinely friendly.
Hotel is beautiful, staff helpful. I stayed in a club room, It would have been nice if there was something in the room that states what is actually complimentary with the club room. I experienced the spa facility in the hotel and that was wonderful. Public transport was also very close to the hotel.
Gone downhill badly
Room not made up on 2 out of 9 nights. Mini bar seldom topped up and then only when requested. Meals were poor, it seems the hotel is on a cost cutting excercise. Service lacked the normal enthusiasm of the Malaysian people. Bill was incorrect. Having paid for the accommodation I was still overcharged for accommodation by a rather large amount. The executive lounge is more like a childrens playground and shorts and slip slops seem to be encouraged in the evenings. Three years ago I was refused entry when wearing shorts. In short, standards throughout have dropped. The New Years Eve dinner in the Celestial Court would have been better served to my pet at home. I have stayed here before which is why I chose to go back, I will never return.

I was amazed to wake up in the middle of the night by the sound (and tremor) of a disco! That is the last one expects on the 37th floor of a good hotel, and one can sorely miss after an intercontinental flight
