Family Get Away
The rooms were very spacious and family friendly. Overall, the experience was fine because the bell boys were friendly but the customer service provided by the reservations officers were terrible.
Via email, we were promised to have an early check in at 12pm and late check out at 3pm.
However, upon arrival at 1.30pm, the unfriendly guest female guest officer told us that there was a back to back situation and our rooms were only ready at 3pm.
My tired family waited and slept at the lobby till 3.15pm. I was unhappy because nobody bothered to come to us and inform us of the situation. I had to literally ask them again if our room was ready.
Again, the unfriendly and rude guest officer told me that our room will only be ready at 4pm.
I was really frustrated because my family was getting restless. Eventually, the room was ready at 3.40pm. Imagine having to wait more then 2 hours when you are on a holiday!
And they also told us last minute that the electricity will be down from 11-8pm the next day.
I was really furious. Paying an extensive amount for their services but we were getting poor service from a 5 star hotel.
Apart from the bad experience, I felt that the room was still good and spacious. The pool, jacuzzi, a fully equipped gym and a great spa made us happy.
