4 Star Amenities, 2 Star Accommodation
We booked the Corus Hotel with very high expectations, only to be disappointed. The front desk service is unfriendly and under staffed. We were not informed about deposits charged to the room and the value on it. Our booking included free wifi in the room only to find out that it is chargeable, and we need to go back the front desk. It then took half a day to get it activated. Breakfast the next morning, we were not supplied with breakfast vouchers, as they claimed that breakfast was not included in our accommodation. We then produced the booking voucher again, and then a manager needed to override the approval of the breakfast. Not the front desk service expected from a 4 Start Hotel.
The room (241), we stayed in, you can clearly see that it is in dire need of renovation. The bath is stained yellowish from age, there is mildew growth around the handles, the extractor fan need serious cleaning.
On the positive side, the amenities is very well presented. The location of the hotel is close to the KLCC.

Centralized and Convenient
I took an Aeroline bus down in the evening arriving after 8.00 p.m. I found the hotel strategically located and near to KLCC where I could walk to have my dinner. Being centrally located I was able to walk for my meeting appointment at Jalan Ampang. Its a good place to stay if you arrive late and alone for short visit

Having tried other KL hotels in the Bintang area, my wife and I found this hotel met most of our needs. We arrived from Penang on the 'Aeroline' coach. This was excellent and we chose it because the coach stops outside the hotel.
We booked the roomonline and found it was clean, free Wi-Fi, kettle, TV ,safe and an empty fridge. This we stocked from the shop over the road.The pool area was well maintained with adquate seating and loungers.Breakfast was very reasonable and plentiful. Get in before 10am!
It was a 5 minute walk to the Petronas Towers and the train station. A huge shopping centre with food court and Big Mac!
It was an excelent location for all transportation which was our priority because we attended the F1 GP.

front desk reception man.
For the reception person on from desk, please pay attention to the costumer who was came first,does matter WHAT, they have to finish Check-In prosed first.and not talk to friend and jock to an other friends. we look like second class citizen, and slow down the service.

Good Location
buffet breakfast was not good, some food were cold and not refill, omelet was done poorly. Generally the hotel is good, with good location. Probably they need a good exterior paint over.

Comfortable hotel
Good location, near LRT, big shopping mall, easy to get Taxi around the place, quiet, lovely buffer breakfat, staff friendly, will stay at Corus hotel again.
Good value, Good Quality
Right in the Heart of KL, I feel we got lucky choosing this hotel as it is situated a stones throw from all the sites and very reasonable in price if you book ahead. We stayed on beyond our original booking and booked direct with the hotel which was considerably more expensive. On a negative note- the breakfast while ok is sub standard as they have no pork or ham products, which as most of us agree has to be part of a buffet breakfast. They should cater for all people and include Bacon and pork products in their breakfast spread.
