a definite winner
this is my third stay at this hotel. I booked 3 rooms during my last stay and had a very pleasant stay. As far as value for money its concerned, you probably won't get a better deal. Rooms are spacious, clean and well presented. We also given 20% discount vouchers to use at the rooftop bar Luna and the inhouse restaurant Soi 23 which we managed to try out. had a great time at both. Luna is a must. Its on the 33rd floor with sweeping views over KL along with a rooftop pool.

Not great the second time round
We stayed here twice, first time was great, second time very very poor!
Second time we were 'upgraded' to a one bedroom suite which seemed good to begin with, then we got to our room:
First our room was a twin when we requested a double, our wifi did not work and they did not have any ethernet cables - signal strength was too poor to work anywhere other then by sitting by the front door of our room.
Next we tried to book a taxi - the hotel insisted on charging us double the normal fare, so we walked out on to the main road and got one for half the price.
Good points: the roof top pool is nice.

Not all it should be.
Advertised as a 5 star hotel, but is not even close (even though the price reflects this - I have still stayed in smarter 2 star hotels in KL). Quite faded and many of the fixtures and fittings are in need of updating. The rooms smelt of tobacco and the A/C rattled like a tin drum. Staff pleasant, but are let down by fastidious management who require this process and that process... took 15 mins to check out at 4am!!! Biggest gripe was with houskeeping who charged us 200 rm for a basic put up and then took an hour to deliver it - making my 9 year old very tired and grumpy.

5 star hotel room with 3 star customer service
Hotel room is very good, spacious and rather well-equipped. Hotel is in a rather secluded place, quite a distance from the monorail stations and main shopping district. No cigarette smell in the room. But the air-con sound is rather loud, especially in the living area and the toilet. The breakfast I ordered using room service is quite terrible though, stale danish and dried-out fruit platter, might as well go to a restaurant for the price. Front desk service is so-so, they placed 2 trainees there without any trained crew, and they ignored that I requested for late check-out.

Clean and Friendly staff "Great Stay"
the location is awesome, its in a quite area in the middle of the city, 5RM will get you to any shopping center in the city. the room was clean and the staff were helpful and nice, i would stay there again. the pool wasnt woow and if you are coming back to the hotel walking good luck with the entrance ramp i dont know why on earth there is no stairs !

We had 3 rooms on different floor levels. This hotel is old but well maintained. Clean and tidy with very spacious rooms. The pool is on the top floor and has stunning views over the city with very comfortable sun beds. There is smoking allowed in the hotel resulting in some very smelly hallways and lifts. Staff seemed friendly and allowed us to use the facilities after we had checked out and waiting for our airport transfer. Our biggest complaint was the difficulty of getting tourist information from staff, they were unsure of the locations of major tourist attractions, unhelpful with travel arrangements they suggested we take taxis everywhere because traveling on the rail system was to difficult when it is actually very simple to understand. Also if the hotel gets you a cab it is slot more expensive than if you get into a cab out the front of the hotel. The location of this hotel is okay the closet rail station is around 1km away. But wherever you stay in KL take your walking shoes.

Great Stay
Great views of KL, great restaurants and club, and well serviced very large rooms. Enjoyed having use of a kitchen. Great shopping close by. Staff helpful. Enjoyable 5 star luxury.

Thought that the hotel had good facilities (e.g. roof top bar), but that the service was rather lacking. Had to change my room as the "Non-smoking" room smelt of smoke and consequently recieved a smaller room. Thought the foor was rather pricey.
