I arrive at the Lobby around 1.45pm made me wait for the room till 3.00pm which I am not happy
LCCT to KL Sentral
Its easy access from KL Sentral - we came from LCCT on a skybus to KL Sentral and walked through and Le Meridien was just on the upper level across the centre - Le Meridien and Hilton side by side. We liked that we didn't have to get on a taxi at all after travelling on a bus aswell. We caught a taxi to get back to LCCT the next day and cost us 140 MR as opposed to 9MR on the bus and about1 hour drive. Staff were nice and friendly and we had room service - lovely pool area with waterfall.
Just Ok.
I choose this hotel for it's location above KL Sentral Station. However, finding one's way from the station to the hotel is a bit of a problem as it's poorly sign-posted. Moreover, the station itself is a bit seedy and a bit threatening for first time visitors.
I had originally booked a standard room, then later changed it into a Club room and when I arrived at check-in the receptionist said I still held two bookings and only relented after I produced the confirmation of the cancellation of the first booking. Not a good start.
Even though I had booked a Club room it was not on the Club floor and I had to take the lift up 10 floors to reach the Club Lounge. Usually Club rooms are on the same or adjacent floors to the Lounge.
The room itself was Ok. Nothing special. However, the bathroom was one of the best I've come across, but the water pressure in the shower was poor and the water temperature a bit erratic.
Breakfast in the Club Lounge was a bit mediocre. Not much choice, with watery scrambled eggs and stale bakery items.
A meal taken in the main coffee shop was very ordinary, with very slow service even though there were only a few other customers in the restaurant at the time.
Had problems with flat batteries in the TV remote, as well as the room safe.

A Relaxing Experience
It was a pleasant & relaxing check in to the hotel. Friendly & professional staff to handle the guests for the stay. Hotel is very convenient & near to the central railway & train station for travel around & about Kuala Lumpur. A very relaxing & smooth experience indeed.

Exceptional hotel . Brilliant value for money ,club rooms lovely,service excellent ,pool fantastic although a little cold . The best breakfast buffet you could wish for .

Very clean room and good services. I lost my wallet at the lobby but the staff gave me a call and I managed to get it back! Great service and friendly staff. Food was great but everything was on the expensive side. It will be great if there is wi-fi service in the room.

An excellent place to end our holidays. Staff are extremely helpful, service is excellent & our room was superb. I would recommend the Le Meridean to everyone who wants alittle bit of indulgance.

Main reason for staying at Meridien.Took a flight to KLIA and transfer to a coach to Sentral Station which is next to the hotel. Also very convenient for me to take a coach to Genting Highlands from Sentral Station and return.
Hotel is not too far from the shopping centres in Kuala Lumpur.Transportation is very convenient too.
Enjoyed my stay at the Meridien.
