convenient place
It is a very convenient place as it is just walking distance to Pavilion (about 2 - 3 mins). Also very near to KLCC and Bintang walk. The only thing we dont like is the staffs not sure about the construction work outside which block the road and created very inconvenient problems for us as we cant drive our car into the hotel car park.
Suggestion: I think the management should get the details info from the contractor especially about the road block hour.

One of the worst Novotel Chain
I am Accor A/Club member and a regular guest at Accor Group. Novotel Kl was the worst in term of quality of the room. The room curtain not working, air conditional not cool even switch on high and at 15 degree. Do not stay at Premier floor top most level, there is a chiller room above and the noise is unbearable.

Good clean hotel
The room quality and cleanliness is quite good. And the proximity to public areas is excellent. Across the street is the Pavillion Mall, which is good. 5 mins walk to LRT station, and 10 mins walk to KLCC and the Petronas Towers.
The only downside was you have to pay RM30/24h for wifi, where elsewhere they offer it for free.

Excellent Hotel, but you always get the same high standard with every Novotel Hotel all over the world. Great loation, short walk to Petronas Towers, many shops, restaurants etc.

I have found Novotel brand very uneven....
I have found Novotel brand very uneven. The Kuala Lumpur experience for me was bad enough for me to change hotels. My room was small with a distinctly poor odour. There was no fridge to keep anything cold and the room was small. The breakfast was ordinary. This was a hotel room for US$100++. Not good enough. The location was good for shoppers. Perhaps I had one of those odd experiences but I would not reccomend.

The location of the hotel is great....
The location of the hotel is great. It's close to the Monorail, Shopping Centre, money exchange (good rates) and Restaurants. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is newly renovated and very clean and tidy. The lifts can take a while, so be patient. Breakfast is western buffet style and a lot of variety. The massage in the hotel is great. You should definelty book yourself for a spa or massage and spoil yourself. I will be back.

Stayed 2 nights at Novotel KL in...
Stayed 2 nights at Novotel KL in June 2009. Hotel was recommended by a friend. Location was excellent, just opposite the Pavilion Mall, which has a good selection of restaurants & a food court. (Madam Kwan's nasi lemak is a must-try. Nando's, which we first tried in Melbourne, also brought back nice memories.) Hotel is walking distance to KLCC mall & Petronas Towers as well as the Bukit Bintang area. Light Rail station (Raja Chulan) is also nearby. Hotel service is polite & efficient. We were given late check-out without fuss. Our standard hotel room is of decent size but the toilet is definitely too small for caucasians. Perhaps they have larger toilets in their deluxe rooms & suites. Breakfast spread is adequate but not very exciting. Overall, hotel is value for money.
