Room extremely small.
Room not sound proof. Next room noise can be clearly heard

Good Value
This is a good value for the money - Our Standard room however was extremely small without a dressing table - We were promised a 220 sq.ft. with 42" tv and we didnt get that. I complained to the hotel but they said they cannot do anything and deluxe room is 50rm extra per day.
We complained to Asia Rooms and they called the Maytower hotel. Our room was upgraded to deluxe for the entire 2 week stay and it was a nice room - The hotel is in need of renovation though. however for the money we paid we got a good room after the complaint.
Customer service at asiarooms was very responsive. The breakfast buffet at Maytower is pricey and totally not worth it. However free shuttle to bukit bintang and Pavillion was nice.

Needs refurbishing
Generally, the hotel is ok. However, the interior definitely needs refurbishing. Although old, none of the facilities are spoilt nor non-functional. I guess their maintenance did a good job.
The swimming pool is small but very well maintained. Good clean water without smell of chlorine.
Gym is small but with 3 threadmills and good facing of windows.
Wifi or internet is chargeable. Should have been free. Nowadays almost all hotels have free wifi.
I guess its got to do with refurbishing again.
Staff are ok and friendly.
Location is good too, being centrally located.
Overall for business travel, its still a good place to stay in KL.

Staying at Maytower Hotel
The receptionist is quite new and need to be taught along the way by their senior.
Room is ok but the bed is too big for a small room.I hardly able to walk to the other side of the room. Food delivery takes about almost half an hr and the foods sucks to the max. I order fish and chip.The fish is very small. Suitable for kids and i paid RM 26 for that..OMG. Cleanliness of the room is ok.

2 nights stay!
The rooms were very small but you get what you pay. Location is very good, easy to go to bukit bintang, klcc etc. via the nearby lrt. Breakfast was so-so and quite expensive. Overall was ok. Might stay here the next time i visit KL.

improve customer service
Reception staff not very helpful - unaware and not very receptive when questioned about local knowledge or local interests to assist guests. Whenever I asked for locations most of which was walking distance from the hotel they just told me to take a cab. No inhouse hotel functions even though closer to christmas season no festive decorations either. For convenience would stay again as good budget accomodation and value for money

good for short stay
The room was small but clean , central to all of kl the staff were pleasant but the rooms don't get cleaned till 5pm in afternoon. Good value for money on short stay!
