Professionalism and Luxury @ It's Best
One off the best Hotels for Service, Professional Attentive Staff and Bonus points for the Superb Breakfast, the choice is bewildering.
There is a certain calm about the whole place [although a very bussy place]
Great Rooms very spacious, very clean a credit to the service from housekeeping.
The Wi-Fi strength is great [and free]
Will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Luxury to the Maximum
After reading scary reviews of other hotels and wondering what we would find when we arrived, I booked an on-line special. The photos were all looking absolutely gorgeous but so were the others. When we got to the hotel around midnight we were wrecked. The check-in was smooth and we were advised we had been upgraded. When we opened the door on the 12th floor and saw the room I almost burst into tears because it was so beautiful, especially just coming from 3 weeks in India. I was the best blessing of all. I raced around turning on all the lights so I could take photos before we unpacked. The staff were friendly and accommodating especially at breakfast during a very busy time for a large function with many International guests. Thank you Royale Chulan for a very memorable stay at your magnificent hotel. We wish it was longer. Ty and Robin Hosking.

A large grand hotel but lacks warmth.
We stayed at Royal Chulan for three night on our way back to Australia from Vietnam.
Hotel was much bigger and much higher standard than we had been staying in. Staff were friendly enough, but the the place lacks the warmth and personal touch that smaller hotels can offer.
Location of hotel is very good and main city shopping centres and China town are within walking distance.
The breakfasts were over the top buffet style with food of every kind. If you are a big eater you would love this.
A couple of gripes - main one was that they charged for use of computer for internet access, other was that fridge was never stocked with drinks.
Not sure if I would stay there next time - may look for something smaller.

The hotel not give the same room and services who had reservation tru your web .
they let me wait for one hour to finish my check in ....
very important things.
The reception told me if the room not accept from you back to the AsiaRooms to collect your money ...
At the final I requested the front office no advice to help
Bad experience .......
I them give the right and quick serves there direct customer ..........
These way effect people to deal with your sight ......
please make sure we have the value of our money ............... greetings

Hotel is perfect, within walking distance to main shopping areas. We have been upgraded to Premier room, service is superb. If I come to KL again, would definitely stay again.

Disappointing service
The main problem with this hotel is service- they do not take action and do it. They will tell you "Yes sir" but then 3 hours later, they still have not fixed the problem. We had issues with the safe not working, wardrobe lights cannot be switched off as this was not working, beds not done until after 3 pm. Food quantity and variety was there but quality was not there. They could not find my booking at time of departure and i was going to be billed for the rooms when i had already prepaid.

Great Stay at the Royale Chulan
We stayed in this hotel in January and could highly recommend. We were very happy with the food, location and room. The pool was great and fairly warm for a city hotel. We had a problem checking in and so did our friends a couple of days earlier. They said they could not find our booking and left us for about 10 minutes to check out our form. They then tried to tell us we had to pay taxes in addition to our booking rate. We pointed out that there was no taxes to be added with Asiarooms and the amount on the booking form was correct. They did check this out with Asia rooms and said we were correct. They let us pay a half rate and extend our checkout time to 6pm which was very handy. We discovered by accident they had a buffet dinner deal where the 2nd person would eat for 2 ringgits which is less than a dollar. The buffet breakfast and dinner were very comprehensive with a wide range of foods. The staff were very friendly. I recommend this hotel for families and couples. Your will not be disapointed.

A Royal Experience without the Price Tag
Our Family have just returned from KL and a 5 Night Stay at the Royal Chulan.. After a minor hiccup on arrival ( Adjoining rooms not available and only on the smoking floor ) We were delayed a short time before being given the room keys to two very nice rooms on a non smoking floor. Great size Bathrooms, fantastic Concierge and best breakfast ever. Great value for money hotel that I will stay again when I visit KL. The hotel is very well located.
