service was mixed, room was not the 1 booked ie had no windows and was smaller than stated, issue was remedied told due to reservation problem, night receptionist rether aloof but day staff very helpful.
Buffet beakfast very good but need to be early to get the full variety of options later on ie 9:30 items not topped up.

We are from Queensland, Australia and our first time in Kuching. The plane was late on arrival at Kuching airport but the pick up service from this hotel was excellent, the driver was there when we got to the arrival lounge. As we checked-in, the manager on duty was friendly and professional. When we finally got to the de luxe room that we booked for, we felt that it was too small than we expected, so we phoned the manager to request for a bigger room if available. There was no problem. For an extra amount we were immediately accommodated to what they call executive double room. It was basic but a lot bigger. Our room was clean, the white linen were clean and no musty smell. The room has a small flat screen tv on the desk, chair, fridge, and an extra small table and chair. There were 2 small bottles of complimentary drinking water and coffee & tea making facility. The wardrobe was spacious and there was a safe inside it. I have noticed that the bathroom have no exhaust fan, and the water from the wash basin made some noisy (gurgling-like) sounds as it went down the pipe. The breakfast that was included was okay, some choices of asian and continental. This hotel is about a kilometre away from the water front, just a nice walk if you like walking, the distance is too short to catch a taxi, unless you're in hurry. Overall, it's a good clean hotel, service is good.
