I enjoyed my stay at this truly budget hotel. My Asia Rooms rate included 24 hours of air conditioning. I paid my deposit for the bath towels and for the key, and this was refunded when I returned them on checking out. I had no need to speak with the staff between checking in and checking out. The room was clean, but had hardly any furniture - just a shelf for storing my belongings, a bedside cabinet, and a clothes rail that hinged out from the wall which I found I could easily knock into when I wasn't paying attention. There was no chair, but I could sit on the bed. There was no TV, but perhaps this was available at a fee - I didn't ask. The room was quiet and peaceful. There is a cafe in the lobby, but I chose to go to nearby hotels and pay for a full buffet breakfast. The hotel is around a three-minute walk from the riverside promenade, and everything in Kuching is within walking distance (except when it is raining hard). I found the hotel to be good value, and it fulfilled my needs very well. Just don't expect a de-luxe experience for this price!
