Not deserve a 4 star hotel at all, Building is too old, holes are everywhere in the room Bed is uncomfortable. Only good side is the location, Close to shopping area

Convenient location (about 7 mins taxi from...
Convenient location (about 7 mins taxi from jetty), and that's the only thing we liked about this hotel. The worst things were the poor breakfast which had very few choices and the cold, unhelpful, unfirendly attitude of the staff. When we came in for breakfast, there were few empty tables but the tables were not cleaned for the next guests. The breakfast staff were just standing like statues inspite of many guests waiting to have breakfast. Only when the manager came and started cleaning himself did the rest of the staff get into high gear and started cleaning. Finally we were asked to pay an additional payment when checking out (inspite of having made a full payment through asia rooms). She realized her mistake when I showed the duplicate copy of the asiarooms receipt, but didnt bother to apologize for her mistake. This hotel was quite a contrast from the hotel we stayed in Penang (the day before) where the hotel staff were very welcoming, helpful and there were more choices for breakfast, and about 30% cheaper than Bay View. Will not stay here if we come again.

I had a wonderful time in Langkawi,...
I had a wonderful time in Langkawi, the hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were very helpful and went out their way to assist. I would definetley book here again.

really more than my expactations.best hotel in langkawi in this budget.room was clean and big.swimming pool was marvellous.food delicious. only one thing lacking is the handshower in the toilet..overall perfect hotel to be stayed again..

Room No:1010 shower cubicle, after shower, water stagnant. Water do not flow to the water hole. Should allow another Card Key for room, upon request. As I'm participating in the Darts Tournament, my wife will be out shopping. I'm allowed less than 5 mins to leave my team at the Tournament Hall to go to my room for my medicine. Your Bell Boy will come in 2 mins. Hotels in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Jakarta, Phuket, those Hotels that I stayed got no problem issuing 2 Card Keys on request. I do not want additional key, if I'm staying alone. Anyway, may be your management have encountered some problems previously, issuing 2 keys. I'll understand.

we stayed there for three nights.Room is good with sea view.The good thing is that Jetty Point is 5 minute drive from hotel.You can get all types of tours from there.Also it is center of town so you dont have to go far away.Many shopping places are just at a walking distance

Pleasant, professionally run hotel. Although as Europeans...
Pleasant, professionally run hotel. Although as Europeans we were a distinct minority, we always felt comfortable in the surroundings. Staff always cheerful and helpful, and communicated well - made for an enjoyable stay.

The smell in the room was musty,...
The smell in the room was musty, damp. Carpets looked worn and tired. Not much variety in the Buffet Breakfast. Overall the stay was pleasant and the hotel is very central.
