The Best of the worst
It was un expected level of hotel. the time you review the hotel from the website you get foole by the proffessional photographer. infact the hotel was not that good and expensive related to the market value.
Food was not that good, even the room was fair, average lets say. the most lovley thing was the sea view from the room.
Pool is good but limited timings only, everyday when we finished our tour in Lankgawi we reach hotel around 6pm and we need to have a swim but unfortunately the pool closes at 7pm.
I was little bit disappointed from the hotel and the quality of services and room material.

Good value for money
The hotel is ideally situated within the Kuah town centre. A paradise for Duty Free lovers. If you are into sea food then Kuah is the place to be. The hotel is clean,the rooms are spacious, and the staff are polite and friendly. There is a business centre within the hotel which provides good and friendly advice and help on the tours around Langkawi. The jetty is only five minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a good taxi service near the hotel which is used by the hotel itself. The only drawback is that the beach is quite a distance from the hotel. I will definitely use this hotel again and recommend it my friends.
Experience in Bayview hotel- Langkawi
The location in Kuah Town. The people are quite helpful. My room is the sea view ... vey nice! (Hope in future no hotel build infront of this hotel) My room is clean but you need to bring your tool brush / paste , comb and slipper. Very convinent for shopping. but not for sea sport. Taxi station is 1 mintute walking distance. There is a good tour company in this hotel that you can arrange slight seeing . (Knowledgable english tour guide - Mangove tour) My comments for improvement are the lady toilet near reception was quite dirty (From my wife) and the breakfast quality level below our expectation. Food and coffee are under the average. Hope the hotel can target more foreign tourist!
Getaway to Langkawi
Went to Langkawi for a short getaway. The hotel is not bad, quite central in Kuah town, accessible to all night markets. Hotel staff is friendly and approachable. Overall, 7 out of 10.

Like the hotel. Room is quite big, specially the bed. Have enough parking space. Close to the Eagle square. But far from sea beach..Overall, I enjoyed to stay in that hotel.
Great Position
This hotel is in the Best spot for shopping in Kuah. You are right in the middle of all the duty free shops and the price for Alcohol and chocolate is amazing. If you are travelling from Australia to Langkawi, do NOT buy any duty free alcohol until you get to Kuah. Prices 70% cheaper!!!!
The Hotel breakfast was included, and adequate. Rooms, big and clean. Bathroom good.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
The Langkawi Fair shopping centre is around a 10 minute walk or $2 in a taxi.
Taxi's are very cheap.
Head to the market when it is on for your dinner. You wont find better and wont get sick.
I have travelled with my family extensively throughout Asia, and Langkawi is one place you can go to where you won't have any problems eating food anywhere.
The Bayview Hotel is, in my opinion the best hotel in Kuah.
Waitress not friendly
The waitress should display friendly, cheerful, helpful and pleasant image to your guestroom.
Very good welcoming hotel. Great location in central Kuah. Nice swimming pool. This was a very good experience.
