fabulous experience
Ive read many negative reviews and we were apprehensive about booking the hotel. Can only speak from experience and the experience was totally positive. The hotel was out of this world. The private beach and pool were of the highest order. The price of food and beer were very reasonable. The beach view room was clean and we had no complaints. Hardly any mozzies, and believe me I'm one of the unlucky ones who they love to feast on. The hotel can be very quiet, even for couples. However, the taxi's are very reasonable, and we had 2 nights in the busier Cenang beach, and a cost of 26 Rm each way. (just over 5 pound) The cable car was again out of this world and a must. Another positive is that its a 10 min walk from the hotel. On the way we noticed monkeys on the side of the road and in the hotel. The hotel has an array of wonderful nightlife, such as hornbills and lizards. I would highly recommend this hotel BUT, there was one thing that I did not agree with. They charged me and extra 100 RM, after the original fee was agreed on Asia rooms, when I booked last November. I will be speaking to Asiarooms about this when I get home to complain. Apart from that everything was perfect.
