It is very much Muslim oriented, and frequented. That is not a main issue, but people have to be aware of it as the whole atmosphere is clearly particular for non-muslim or European people: the non-pork (or bacon) food, the guests looks to ourselves, the very peculiar swimmimg suits in the pool...it's all ok but put us in some sort of discomfort as if we did not belong there.
Also, the staff is not efficient, although mostly smiling. The electricity broke off in our children room, and they could only have another room and possibility to sleep after midnight; smiles, and ...no apologies.
Paints and general aspect look old and not well maintained.
The conditon of the Gym, which was an important factor for us, was outrageously poor: 4 machines out of order, radio and TV out of order, no towels; again, no feeling of wrongness, but just: "it should be repaired in several weeks...".
Bell Captain sharing jokes with nearby taxi drivers, protecting their interests rather than guests'ones when fixing the taxi fares.
Disappointing.
