The resort was professionally operated. Staff were exceedingly friendly and willing to assist. Facilities were of a high standard and house keeping was unobtrusive.
Our stay was on par with our expectations. We enjoyed the calm surroundings and privacy was excellent. At the time the resort was only 25% occupied so I imagine it would be more hetic during peak season.
This is an excellent get away resort not for party animals.
Our only comments would be, room ceiling a bit tired. Some bugs in a pepper shaker and some new waiters still training.
Having said that,it was a great experience.

An excellent hotel, views are superb, rooms are beautiful, and service is beyond expectations.
You can not find a better beach in Langkawi. Food is good, and, as Tanjung Rhu Resort is next to the Four Seasons Hotel, you can stay in the same area while taking advantage of the excellent restaurants of both resorts.

The service was great esp. the staff...
The service was great esp. the staff from the rhu restaurant and the spa. The breakfast wasn't so good but the dinner at the rhu was fantastic. I will visit that resort again most likely with my baby. This is a very family style resort.

Tanjung Rhu was great for its location, food, friendly service and great sunsets. The staff greeted us with smiles every day and they look like they are proud to be working there.

Its a surreal place of beauty maintained...
Its a surreal place of beauty maintained perfectly by the staff. The luxury is understated and subtle. The quality of the sea can be a little disappointing during low tide in the evening but it is perfect from morning till late afternoon. A rare gem of a place where you can actually feel that you are unwinding. Do not go if you like your holiday to be an adrenalin pumping event-filled blur of days.
