The Hotel itself was not bad and the stuff was really engaged, friendly and helpful BUT the Managing Director at the reception was unfriendly, not helpful and really arrogant and lousy and when we asked to extend our stay for some more days he offered us to have a look at some cheaper hotels along the beach.
Usually we stay at The Regent in KL, at the Hilton in Kuching and at the Royal Plaza Parkroyal in Singapore and we don't look as poor people or as hippies .....
Even as the hotel was not fully booked there were not enough sunbeds at the pool or at the beach, because the older guests or the guests with children already reserved the sunbeds from 6 to 7 am in the morning with their towels.
We are really sorry for all the friendly stuff who have to work under this kind of Management and we are also sorry for all the older people or families who stayed there for their yearly vacations under these unfriendly conditions, because they have to work so hard at home to get all the money together for their vacations. Finally we found a better place with a much more friendly Management....sorry but we will not use the Lanai Beach Ressort again if the Management will not change.
