I stayed in Lanai from 30th April to 3rd May having booked a room for triple sharing. For the amount that Lanai charges I think it is quite alright for the buget conscious. I wanted to spent more on touring the island. On the plus side, the room was clean. Service was good. The air con was not cooling and they got it fixed quite promptly. Also there was immediate response when we requested for more pillows. The counter staff also help us gladly when there was a miscommunication with one of our booked tour. Breakfast variety was average but tasty. They have pancakes, harsh brown, toast, corn flakes, fruits, salad, eggs, beef ham and asian noodles soup and fried noodles. The place is beside the beach and there is a medium sized pool. It was also convenitent to walk out at night to get dinner. There are resturants and minisupermarkets around the area. On the negative side, the room I stayed in was very small for triple stay and there was no hair dryer. Not much to watch on tv as all programs were in Malay. Toilet size was normal but clean, no bath tub. Conclusion: I got what I paid for. S$100 per night triple stay. The cheapest they have for triple sharing.
