Location, location, location is the mantra of...
Location, location, location is the mantra of property salespeople. It is also the main attribute of this hotel, as it is right on the beach at the quiet end of the resort and it has a lovely courtyard swimming pool. The downside is that nearly everything else about it is in need of refurbishment. The room lacked a bedside table, drawers, a safe, there was no hot water for the sink and the choice of TV stations was virtually non-existant and the corridors were tiled so noise was amplified to the rooms as people went past. As for breakfast, the choice was very limited, particularly for healthy eaters. The selection of fruit as opposed to that available in the local shop was very poor. When asked if any pineapple was available, the awnswer was that it wasn't Monday... The Beach bar provided snacks, some of which were nice but the bread of the sandwiches were lucky to be separated by the filling. Happy hour beers were, in fairness, plentiful and cheap. Staff were pleasant but it depended who you spoke to as to whether you got any intelligent response.
Location and price probably balance the hotel's shortcomings so staying here again would be a possibility. We can only hope the hotel reads reviews.
