My stay in Langkawi
This is the best accomodation for a muslim family like us to stay here because it is very near to Al Huda Mosque. We can go for jemaah by walking distance.

Location OK
We stayed for three days. The location was OK but a bit of a walk to the city centre. Able to walk to the wharf and town so for that the location is OK. Rooma are adequate partly renovated but still need to be finished. Shower is just OK. Breakfast is just OK with no change in selections. This hotel takes your payment out 7 days before you arrive so if you intend to pay cash too bad. If you debate this they will repay it but they say it will take 30 days as they say it is an international transfer. The free internet on the 7th floor is only just
Food in the city is great and on Wednesday and Saturday there are great night markets All in all we enjoyed our stay in Langkawi and the staff at the Seaview Hotel are friendly and try to assist where ever they can

Langkawi
The Hotel is old, lighting is poor, but service is prompt and good. Ample of parking, good food. Language is an issue, can be managed. Only hotel so far in Malaysia which we have been who asked for RM50 deposit on check-in. I have no reservation in recommending as good hotel. Bathroom is recently renovated. Swmming pool is small and do not have a change room so water is all over in lift, floors etc.

I had 2 rooms with view to the sea. Clean bath room, which is very important to me.

The hotel is located 20 km from swimming Beach, the room was noisy and dirty, during our 10 days stay was the room not cleaned, they changed only towels. Terrible - never more!

Good value
Had a pleasant stay. Two concerns. One was with the flies on the exposed food at the breakfast counter. On check out, we had a problem as the hotel initially refused to give us a receipt, claiming that since we booked through asiarooms, we needed to print our own receipt. The hotel had also deducted the full amount from the credit card which was unusual as all the hotels that we stayed at made a fresh credit card deduction in our presence upon check out. It was only after I insisted that the hotel agreed to print my receipt and I was told rather curtly that this was not the norm. Aside from this, the staff were very helpful and cheerful.
