Horrible Breakfast
Their so-called Buffet Breakfast lacked variety. I am not saying they must provide a large spread of items but at least make it more presentable. There was only Fried Chinese Noodle and Fried Rice, along with cabbage beside the standard bread and butter with coffee and tea and the usual papaya and pineapple and orange juice to choose from. The hotel can certainly do much better to add just one simple item; fried egg or half/hard Boiled Egg.
So naturally, we did not take our breakfast the next morning. We walked across the road where we had a bowl of Fish ball Noodle and a cup of coffee each at RM4.10.

The staff are friendly and helpful except that the rooms we were given has got no windows, so when you first enter into the room, you could smell a misty and dusty smell, perhaps because of no windows available. Their buffet breakfast are not that great and not much variety. They should improve on their menu whereby I notice that some of the food have turn cold for late visitors. The wi-fi is great except that their pillows are a bit too soft.

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Very friendly staffs. I am very impress in one occasion that we came down a bit late for breakfast (abt 10am, the breakfast time is till 10.30am), the staffs actually quickly check if there are sufficient food for us, in fact the chef specially cooked fried rice & fried noodle to top up the buffet. Superb customer service!

Unfortunately the room smelled as the carpets were not clean and the hot water was inconsistent.
Beware there are 3 Hallmark hotels in Melaka so make sure of the address.

Reasonable choice
New(er) hotel, relatively clean (a few minor spots her and there), good location (10 minute walk to the main attractions), car park, very friendly staff. Clean beds, hot shower, and National Geographic on flatscreen TV make for good relaxation after a day of walking.Would stay again.
Cleanliness not on the top
Overall of the facilities are quite good but there is one things that make me consider booking this hotel again. When we went check in into the room, there is some bad odour in the room and the bathroom. There are also a lots of dust in the room and you can see a layer of dust on the table. The bed sheet, blanket and pillow case have some kind of smell. It looks like it was not washed and being reused again by the hotelier. This was a bad experience for me as cleanliness was the key of good impression of a hotel.
Meet expectation
For the price we paid, the quality of the room was reasonable. As the room was facing road, it is quite noisy. Breakfast was poor, many flies.

we also have a happy trip on malacca.
It was a bit disappointing that when I was there, the wifi was not working properly
