The bath tub really need to be changed. There's no hot water. The hotel rooms need to be refurbished.
The housekeeping staff routinely forgot to refill the toilet paper.
The Ironworks Fitness Center was poorly maintained. Equipment was not put back in place and the staff spent more time talking to their friends than working. The room had carpet instead of rubber or laminate flooring. The carpet was dirty and smelled bad. Not surprising since it is very difficult to keep carpet clean when people are sweating all over it.

Luxury in Miri
My wife and I have stayed at many hotels worldwide. This has to be one of the best. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We booked a seaview deluxe room. This was well furnished with TV, bed, sofa and plenty of space to put away your clothes. The only negative point was being on the lower floor the palm trees partly obscured the view of the beach.
The restaurant had a good range of food to suit all tastes. The breakfast buffet also had a wide selection of food - you could even ask for eggs done any style. The prices were reasonable so we did not bother looking for anywhere else to eat.
In the evening there was entertainment in the bar - a very enjoyable group of three females and one male.
Outside there is a large garden and pool area. This is a large pool with a safe area for children/non swimmers. Beyond the gardens is a short walk to the beach which looked safe for swimming. There is a bus stop near the hotel where you can take the bus to Miri centre about 2km away for 1RM.
This is a 4 star hotel with 6 star service!

Very relaxing
The rooms in the hotel was really big and comfy. The hotel provided a lot of amenities and the toilet and towels were clean. However, they could buy new sets of sheets for the bed. Pillows were like cotton. I find myself lost in the lavish of the king size bed.
It is located by the beach and the hotel has a nice swimming pool.
The staff were very helpful and friendly also accomodating. The roomservice food was not good. I ordered a pasta and all it was was just cream and pasta. It was yucky almost eventhough I was starving.
I would definately recomment it and come back, but never order roomservice again.
A nice place to stay. Swimming pool is good but no guard around.

keep water clean
On the last day of my stay at the hotel, I gt surpeised becouse the water was in dark color. I realized that may be hotelmanagement was cleaning the water tank.But it made me shocked. I would suggest that cleaning water tanks should be run at midnight. Hope this will not happent o other guests hotel.
A good retreat...
It was not our first time staying at the hotel and it's not going to be our last either...Excellent location, value for money, friendly faces, spacious rooms and the list goes on...My only wish is that the hotel can be baby-friendly too!

Excellent value for money. Helpful friendly staff. Good sized, clean room and bathroom, great location near the sea. Lovely swimming pool and surrounds, nice dining room, excellent food and included breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was very comfortable. I had an issue with my booking which was my fault, but they sorted me out and gave me the same rate as I had previously booked at. Was however given a smoking room but they were quite full so couldn't really grumble. Pool area was very nice until the generator kicked in due to a power failure in the area. Cannot comment on food as did not eat there. Nothing much in the immediate surrounds so sort of stuck in hotel, but given I was only there for one night, not an issue.
