Quality of buffet breakfast could have been better.
3rd time here & a little disppointed
i was pleasantly surprised to see a recently renovated room. But the good impression dissipated quickly after i lifted the toilet bowl cover & saw used tissue paper in the bowl. Then we realised that our safe box was not working, followed by bedside lamp and then air con. The string of malfunctioning equipment dampened my holiday mood.
I ordered room service on the 2nd day and my club sandwich did not arrive after a 40 min. We had to call the customer svc, only to be informed that the kitchen had some problems & our order will take somemore time to arrive. All in, my clubs sandwich took about 1 hr to reach my room. What is appalling was that the staff didn't clear the empty plates we left outside our room even after 3rd day when we checked out.
Upon check out after a 3D2N stint, I stunned to see that I was charged 3 night's rate for the extra bed i requested. I had to point this out to the lady who handed the bill to me and she had to take a while to realise what was wrong.

Overall the stay was pleasant except that the room we requested was not the beach nor pool facing but facing the carpark. The other negative point i would like to highlight is on the second night of stay and it was raining and the carpark was a little fllooded so my shoe and socks was all wet before entering the car. Hope something can be done.
Money worth stay for the family
This is our second stay with this hotel. We used to visit this stretch of the coast in Malaysia and staying in the various resorts there. The others has gone down in standard due to its poor maintenance but this one has uphold its standard well for another visit in the future.
The room rate is too expensive.
The Garden Cafe buffet is really a good value for the money. A wide variety of foods in which to choose. The morning breakfast buffet is pretty good too. BUT, the coffee that is served is absolutely the worst I've ever tasted!!
The prices on the menu items are on the high side, and portions small!
But the worst thing about the hotel is the overall room rate. It is very overpriced by at least 100RM!
Also, hotel is a bit far from the town. The shuttle is a good idea, but the return at 4pm is not too good, especially when you take the 1st shuttle at 11am. Should have an additonal return when taking the 11am departure.
The staff however is very friendly and do their best to help.

Basic Hotel for a reasonable price
i specially ordered a king sized bed which is an indication that a couple would be staying there but all i got are two single beds! Ridiculous..spoil my getaway right from the start.
