Location: too high, take time everytime need to go out and get back .

Stayed in the newly renovated tioga suite. The room was spacious but with dusty floor. TV was blur for all channels and limited channels.The cafe's food was terrible and service was bad as most staffs do not seem to understand english. Booked for 3 nights but we stayed for only one night and rather forfeit the other 2 nights charge.
Not Value for Money
I dont feel it is value for money. I will not recommend anyone to stay in this resort....

Stayed at Shasta Apartment, the apartment interior is aging, beds was smelling, and the toilet condition also not clean. The hotel exterior environment and view is nice and refreshing with flowers and plants. Had our late lunch at the Jim Thompson Terrace, the waitress were acting slow.
The resort is situated uphill, hidden away from town hassle and noise. For those who wish to spend their time mostly in the resort relaxing, it is a good place. But for those who look for conveniency or within walking distance to town, it might not be a good option.

When we arrived in our room in Block A we found that the plug was missing in the had basin and we did not have enough towels for three people. This was rectified pretty quickly. The room was very basic, but clean. Unfortunately our room faced the car park where the tour buses stop overnight and we had to request one of them to turn off their engine when they parked in the late afternoon.
The first morning when we came down to breakfast there were no bowls for the cereal and no glasses for the juice and we had to keep asking for these to be replaced. Also you had to hunt for the cutlery as the tables were not set up for breakfast. The meal at the Thai Restaurant was very pleasant.
They were refurbishing some of the blocks, maybe ours is still to be done.

The location is good but the hotel itself is not so good. Rood is very big but it is already worn out and a very old style. Also the hotel staff is not kind. Except the beautiful scine and fresh air, I don't want to recommend this hotel, especially for young people.

Be careful, the cheap rooms face the Hotel entrance and there was a permanent noise - Busses waiting with running motors, honking, kids screeming... We eventually changed the room to a more expensive one and then had a really romantic room with nice view..

We loved the hotel and the surrounding and were very sad that we planned only a one night stay in this hotel during our travel through Malaysia.
We stayd in the studio which we found was a very nice room. Please be aware, that it is also in the summer much colder in the Cameron Highlands than in the rest of Malaysia, so it was a little cold esp. during the night. Bring some long trousers and long sleeved shirts and jacket.
We can highly recommend the Tudor Grill Restaurant. A very nice atmosphere and espec. very delicious food. We had the Sirloin Steak which is prepared at the table and which was a good entertainmant. Also the restaurant's staff was extremely friendly so that we could very much enjoy the stay.
Next time we will definately stay longer to have alos more time for the very nice surrounding.
