Great Service & Unforgettable Experience!
Staff were very attentive and helpful. Kudos to the front desk staff who got housekeeping to rush our laundry for us, to FB manager Mr Mages who introduced us to attractions in Cameron and brought us such delicious strawberries, and especially to Ms Serena Chua (Front Office Manager) for putting us at ease while waiting for the transport back home. The gesture to pack us drinks and beverages for the journey back home melted our hearts. Room is nice and spacious. Turn-down service is good. Thanks to the weather at Cameron, the room was cool with only the fan and no air-con... Spa experience was excellent! Definitely will recommend and stay again!
Stylish retreat!
Warm welcome on arrival to a beautiful and stylish hotel - uncorrupted by intrusive tv screens. Excellent attention and service from all staff. Food was wonderful and our one complaint in this respect was dealt with promptly, seriously and in a very generous manner. Really enjoyed the spa and massage services. The Jim Thompson shop is an added bonus which we could not resist!

Best hotel in the Cameron Highlands
This is the only decent place to stay in the Cameron Highlands, which is a very odd area bereft of good hotels. Having said that, it is very expensive. Dining in the hotel is outrageously expensive, so best to eat out in the local town. Re golf: although they mention the golf course over the road in their publicity, there isn't any arrangement for a discount.

I couldn't click on the above ratings + -, We would rate the room an overall 5 except the location. We would recommend it to couples/romantics.
We actually booked six rooms and all of us were very satisfied with their service, room size etc.
However, we had to walk up to the hotel lobby as it is not accessible by coach. Our group of 19 consist of young and old. The old have problem moving around everytime we decided to go town. We stayed there for 2 nights and moving up and down the slope is the major problem if you are going there by coach.

I came with high expectations and left disappointed. For a hotel which positioned itself as a resort with prices to match, I felt shortchanged.
The room did not have ventilation when all windows were closed and the windows had to be closed because of its proximity to the main road. Furthermore, there were no insect screens on the windows, hence on a warm night it could be unbearable.
We were not provided with drinking water on the first day of our stay and there was no hair dryer in the room. The toiletries also left much to be desired as no toothbrush and shaving kit were provided. The price for a breakfast was exorbitant at rm80 per person. 5 star hotels I stayed in kl and Penang did not charge half as much for breakfast. There were also no cable broadband in the rooms, although there was free wifi in the lounge.
My credit card was debited even before I arrived at the hotel and before I checked out. I wanted to change my credit card for payment but was not able to. I had earlier confirmed with asiarooms that payment would only be effected upon checking out which would allow me to pay with a different credit card or cash if I chose to.
The only saving grace for the hotel was that their staff were friendly but I think it had to be more because of their inherent nature as Malaysians. The location of the hotel made it very easy for anyone to locate it.
I will definitely not return to stay at this hotel.

First we missed the location as the sign 'Cameron highlands resort' is too small and not bolt enough,we only manage to find the place after asking around where we already near Yi Poh. We have no chance to try their facilities but a reminder from front desk staff only free breakfast for two. We paid for our girl meal who is only 7 year old-complimentary should be given. Like we stayed in Swiss Garden Htl in KL, two free breakfast but the htl was nice enough they actually did not charge me.

The only problem with the room was the bathroom was vwry small and the exhaust fan did not work.
Other than that it was Great.
The Restaurant was expensive and did not have a Malaysian flavor. We went out to eat at the local places. Good food at a third of the price.

We enjoyed our stay very much at this hotel as the service was really good and the ambience was fantastic. The only disadvantage is that there is a main road right in front of the hotel and all the bedrooms face the road which can have quite heavy traffic at night and in the early morning. We didn't sleep well in the first night because of the traffic noise and only managed a bit better the second night because we were too tired...In conclusion, if you are looking for a 5 star hotel to stay at and don't mind the noise, you must choose this place as it's really beautiful!
