lovely beach hotel
We stayed in a room in the Ocean wing. The room was large and very comfortable with a small balcony although you do have to be careful to lock the balcony door to stop the monkeys getting in! The hotel is in a lovely location although it is isolated. The beach is huge with lots of trees to give shade and two large swimming pools. The food was very good with lots of different choices both western and eastern. We had the half board option so had buffet breakfast and dinner which was good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

Pangkor paradise
Ok, so the room was a little tired, but honestly, how much time do you spend in your room when on holiday? Great hotel, food was excellent, staff were very helpful. Beach and pools were great. The kids club did lots of fun activities to keep the kids entertained. We will definately be going back!
Really very nice resort
A really very nice resort. A wonderful bay for swim, the water was not really clear, because of rain. We enjoyed the monkeys and the birds they have in the area. The resort is only for relaxing, there is no much to do. So take books along.
To complain I have only the buffet. Every evening it seems the food is the same. When you want to change in the Restaurant you have to pay a lot more. But the salad buffet was good.

perfect gateaway
Nice hotel,big room, nice pool,amazing view (w/ cute monkey 'n beautiful birds around the beach),staff are friendly 'n helpful..we love it..but the food a bit expensive especially when have to lunch n dinner at hotel only..

We got an upgrade, what was very good the suites are beautiful.
The beach is very nice, wether was good, the hornbills impressive, snorkeling was kind of asian mass-tourism-adventure but i enjoyed my shirt term stay very much.
But be careful: the monkeys can open balcony doors!
This is my second time to stay...
This is my second time to stay at the Pangkor Island Beach Resort. We stay only one night for this time and we enjoyed very much during we staying. The environment of this resort is extramely good is you like beach. It is very good overall and the room rate is also resonable.
Our stay at Pangkor Island Resort, unfortunately...
Our stay at Pangkor Island Resort, unfortunately for us, coincided with Malaysian school holidays so the resort was very full and there were many children running around. We had an Ocean View room which had very nice views over the pool to the beach. We were only at the Hotel for 1 hour before monkees ransacked the room- there should be a very strong warning to always keep your balcony door locked at all times. Unfortunately our air conditioner didn't work and we were not able to change rooms for 3 days and we couldn't leave the doors open because of the monkees so the room was unbearably hot. The staff were for the most part courteous and friendly but the drinks were expensive and food not very good except for the breakfasts which were excellent. We hired motorcycles from the resort which were reasonably priced and are the only way to see the island due to its hilly nature. On our travels around the island we discovered Daddy's Cafe, a small restaurant on the beach located in the next bay from Pangkor Island Resort. The food was excellent, the beer was cheap, the service fantastic and the views breathtaking.
