+ve Excellent and beautiful resort and villas. Well worth the upgrade to spa village for use of restricted access spa pool. Staff can't do enough for you, you really feel well looked after. -ve Food is fantastic quality, but it is very expensive. You need to dial a shuttle bus to get to the other side of the island where the beach is as you can't go in the sea on the side of the island where the resort is and sometimes the shuttle takes a while (15 mins).

We got a free up grade to sea villa which was very nice but all the rooms look the same standard so you wouldn't go wrong with a cheaper room, the place is very quiet and relaxing. The beach is empty until around 10:00am and even then its not crowded. The bar closes a bit early (12:00) so don't expect late nights. Restaurants are good especially uncle lims but you need to book early to get a table. Overall very peaceful place.

My husband and I together with my...
My husband and I together with my sisters , brother in law and nephew had a wonderful time at Pangkor Laut. We were there for 4 days but wish we could have stayed longer.Everything was wonderful and we had such a lovely time. Our room was lovely and very clean with plenty of fresh towels everyday. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Check in and check out was very quick and painless .Our luggage dealt with efficiently with no fuss. I especially loved the fact that we were taken to the island in the Power boat from Lummut. The Spa Village was gorgeous. We had one of their Spa packages and it was wonderful. We especially loved the Milk Bath.Rather expensive though and not something we could do everyday. Having said that we also found the food and drinks at the resort extremely expensive. On our first day we had lunch at RBBC which was great. Also had lunch one day at Chapman Bar.The Laksa wasn't very good. We had dinners ;1st night at Uncle Lim's (extremely small plates of food and the next 2 nights at Feast Village. I think the costs could be reduced enormously, especially if one were to stay for a week or two.For example a couple of nights we had dessert and a very very small slice , practically a sliver of cake cost RM 55 around US$15.70 Breakfast was great and very varied.A great way to start the day. I would definitely return but hope that management will reduce costs of food and drink. We would like to say thank you to the wonderful American guy who's on the management staff. I'm sorry we misplaced your business card and can't remember your name. He welcomed us and took care of us when we first arrived, was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with him.A great guy.

Had a very good Time @ pankor Laut. We arrived late at night, chartered a small ferry, very romantic to reach te island by night. I doubted about taking a sea-villa or Hill villa. I took the Hill villa because of the budget. The view from our balcony was so overwhelming, so I was very glad we didn't take the sea villa. The atmosphere was great, surroundings really beautifull. Offcourse the resort makes advantage of the fact their the Islands only providers so it isn't cheap, but value for money.

Even the hotel is located on a remote island, the wonderful service from every staff made the traffic worth. This is a truelly wonderful resort for couples, no matter you are young or senior. Foods are also good except the chinese food, we didn't like it very much. A 5 or 6 days stay is highly recommended to give a sufficient time for all activities you like.

We stayed at Pangkor Laut Resort for...
We stayed at Pangkor Laut Resort for 7 nights in late Jan/early Feb for our honeymoon. We have never stayed in such a beautiful resort and our honeymoon was more than we could have dreamed. We stayed in a sea villa and the room was kept immaculate and perfectly serviced with flower baths, music, turn downs and insect sprays (a must), fruit baskets etc... The sea temperature at Emerald Bay was 27/28 degs every day we were there and the water was faultless. Emerald Bay is the most beautiful beach we have ever been to. The service was impeccable - smiles all round. There is a lovely library area with big covered mattresses with net curtains if you wanted some time out from the sun or shelter from the occasional tropical downpour. The feast village for dinner was amazing with chefs from around the world cooking the most amazing fare - the food itself is very expensive so be prepared. We tried one of the restaurants "Uncle Lims" the food was very overpriced and average and so we didn't feel the need to venture any further than the feast village at nights. The sunset cruise is a must and we also really enjoyed banana boating!! The animals, monitor lizards, fruit bats, hornbills, monkeys etc... all added to the most beautiful environment - the perfect balance between tourism and nature we would go back there in a heartbeat!
