Poor services at Anjungan Resort and Spa
The customer service was poor in the sense that they do not allow you to change rooms although they have the requested rooms giving reasons that they would have lost a sale for that particular room. This clearly shows that they do not have any business ethics as they calculate every single cent of their profit without taking into consideration of the satisfaction and needs of their customers. Being able to book online in advance, may pose a change in the circumstances for the guest(s). Thus, its only fair to allow guests to change the type of room based on the availability. When, this was questioned, the person in charge was rude and unhelpful in which he refused to allow any changes in the room we require. Further, breakfast was not provided for free for the guests who had stayed there although the room rates was quite high compare to the other surrounding resorts. This was even questioned and the person in charge gave some unlogical explanations which could not be accepted.
In short, this is not a place I would like to stay in future when I visit Pangkor as they are only concern of making 100% profit without any value added services for their customers.

The receptionist couldn't find my booking details. Luckily it is not peak season. However, it's very convenience to live in this hotel. 5 mins walk to the left to stores to buy clothes, souvenirs and foods. From the hotel, 5 mins walk to the right can reach the beautiful beach with lots of activities, and nice foods at Daddy's Cafe.
The hotel and room is very simple but it have most of the basics things that we need.
You can see hornbill(bird) in the hotel at the morning as well.
Behind the hotel is forest, in front is beach. I would said it is a very strategic location.
You can even rent transport from the store nearby to hang around by yourself, or can call for taxi trip.
Strongly recommend for Daddy's Cafe, the western foods are excellent. And, it's romantic yet relaxing to have dinner at the beach. The price is a little bit higher(20+), but I think it's worth.
Just that the spa and massage is not available during the days I was there.
The beach and water of the sea is clean.
But, I think it's better to go during the shoulder season.
The transportation is well-managed, you can trust and follow the instruction for transportation from the official website.
Will come back again if I would look for relaxing holidays.

Value for money
Hotel rooms are clean but no carpet for room entry & bathroom entry. Air conditioner leaking & water heater no hot water but upon complaint they fix the both problem on the spot. Service are good. Name with SPA but no spa service available. Overall all good but it will better if breakfast provide for this price.

Anjungan
I would return to the hotel (purely because the location is perfect and it has everything we need), however, the rooms and stairwells needs to be cleaned properly. The bathroom wasn't perfectly clean, neither was the sleeping accommodation.
That being said, the pool was nice and breakfast was good value for money. There are no lifts, or bell boy service.

Friendly hotel, great location
Excellent all-round hotel sandwiched between the beach and virgin jungle. Good access to both Nipah Bay and Coral Bay. Provides good value and tasty breakfast and lunch. Dinner available within walking distance - ranging from local vendors to Western food for the homesick (Daddy's cafe). Pleasant swimming pool makes a change from seawater!
Only drawback is current government construction of permanent stalls for food vendors along Nipah Bay, which detracts slightly from the fantastic sea views. Hopefully, this will not be a permanent feature!
