I stayed here for 4 days and it was very pleasant. The japanese restaurant was lovely and the cafe was also good value. Check-in / Check-out was very quick. It is in an area worth a walking exploration. I have been here before and will be back.

We have stayed in other hotels at Penang as well (Paradise Sandy beach and Tanjung Bungah) and though this hotel is (slightly) higher priced, everything you get is much better.
It is a perfect hotel. A well oiled machine. Clean rooms, well mainatianed, lots of facilities, well located and above all friendly staff that knows and understands what they are supposed to do which is: serve the customer...
I can warmheartedly recommended this hotel to others!

Hotel location is OK, room space is OK but bath room looked old with strain, refirgerator available but empty, maybe for you to top up. Room space big enough for 2 adults, but television is of 14" model and for business traveller, no internet connection. Type of guests there are not of international origin, more like for local.

I was disappointed with the room, bathroom and facilities at Cititel hotel in Penang. The room was too small for two persons and the amenities in the room were very spartan. Compared to another hotel, Sunway Georgetown (RM 140 with breakfast), this is definitely not value for money. However the location of the hotel is quite good and there are much nightlife in the vicinity of the hotel.

Good value for money and the best I have found in Penang in this price range. It is very well located, if you want the city centre rather than the beach. Comfortable, well equipped bed room with good air conditioning. Food in the coffee house was fine if you don't want to walk any further.

I stayed here for four nights and I found it to be a nice friendly and very clean organised hotel. The room was fine, clean but a slight smell of cigarette smoke. I had requested a non smoking room. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. location of the hotel was good for me not too far to walk anywhere. A free bus service just outside the hotel that went to "Comtar" and the main bus station. This was one of my better choices of hotel and yes I will stay there again possibly next year
