The location is rather out.It's a distance away from the city area.For business,it's a good place to stay,but for tour,I'll recommend you stay in city area.
The room is very comfortable,bathroom is spacious.But the soundproof sucks.You can hear people slamming doors and people walking upstairs.It's quite disrupting to your sleep.
As for service,the staff at the concerige are friendly,though I can't say the same for the reception counter.I requested for non-smoking floor and high floor but didn't get it.Instead of a "sea view" room,I was allocated a "tree view room".
Breakfast is very good.I think Cafe Laurel is a good place to have your meals.The standard of the food there is above average and the price is reasonable.Ambience is good as well.I tried their International Buffet Dinner.It was only RM$46 nett.Quality of the food was very good.
Overall I would still say I had a pleasant experience staying in Evergreen Laurel.But I would only stay there if I'm going on a business trip.

This is the worst hotel i have...
This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed. The beach infront the hotel is actually full of garbage and the drain water are flowing into the sea infront the hotel. The hotel has the worst rooms. Smell so bad. Lobby was big and nice. Food out side the hotel was nice and cheap.I will never stay in this hotel again.

1)Choice of breakfast food should be a bit more.
2)Recep counter staff to be more and service must be fast to welcome guest.
3)Only limited TV channel.
4)Limited shampoo and shower gel given.
Overall is still valve for money and worth staying!

Surprising!
Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. Staff were friendly and on chatting with the person who helped us with our bags, found that he is a long standing staff member of 12 years.. impressive.
Generally a enjoyable stay and will come back again.

View is good especially facing the sea. Strolling along the seaside is relaxing. Gurney Plaza is located nearby with 15min walk along rhe seaside.
value for money but not 5 stars service
The room is clean, comfortable. Good for short stay/business but not for leisure/ family. It'ok if you don't expect 5 star service. The front counter is not welcome. I'm so disappointed of the facility, the kids club smell bad and very hot. Overall is ok.
The hotel should not put rookies manning...
The hotel should not put rookies manning the registration and cashier's counter, because they mess up with bookings and charges. Suggest that experienced staff should guide the rookies in their operations.
