have stay at hotel a few times...
have stay at hotel a few times this year. place is not well maintain.example the jazucci has been spoilt since the begining of the year but not repaired.
during this stay the room has a leaking shower hose and the newly make bed is sandy.the cleaner left the door open for one whole day after cleaning room.
only reason i stayed there is the convenience for where i want to go.
ok for budget travelers but not exactly value for money as the price of room has been moving up this year.

Hotel is run down though it tries to maintain standard. The criteria of what is a good international hotel does not seem to be understood by top management.
Eg, restaurant decor, facilities n service are like that of a cafeteria.
Hotel furnishing is not that of a good standard hotel though bed n mattrreess are ok BUt tv channels limited n no complimentary water even though I paid 'deluxe' room prices.
It's all these details that make hotel not up to the mark n shud be recoomended as a budget hotel, n not worth paying ofr a 'deluxe' room.

The hotel was very deserted absolutely no staff when we needed them. Staff offer no assistance not very friendly. Hotel very far from all activities in Penang. Cannot walk anywhere too far. No restaurants or take-outs nearby either. Overall the building not in a good state either.

But it can improve its standard of food, eg breakfast. Also not enuf staff, so many tables during b'fast not cleared.
Cleanliness ok excpet there was a smell in the main lift area of my floor, but the smell disappears in the corridoor. Could be the water seepage as stains can be seen on the ceiling.
Public areas like lift areas should be done. Also hotel neeeds to be redecorated as standards are not the same since Crown Prince became Crown jewel.

It is in very bad location.. no shops ,no good restaurants , bad water activities on the beach, very bad service.. The shopping centeres are far and you have to pay much money for the taxi.. The staff are very lazy and if you ask for room service you may not get it !!! breifly.. i dont recommed any one to stay in this hoetel..
